I’m crying right now. I used to love this as a kid, this exact video. And now I’m back to it in 2023, away from whatever kid are doing on tik tok and stuff. Just reflecting on the past
I like how you say it like that. I feel like your past right now. whatching this video because i really like lego trains, and becouse maybe i will get inspiration by this.
I remember watching this when I was younger and while I was into Lego trains and Lego as a whole. But even though I’ve lost a bit of interest in this and started a collection of Godzilla and other stuff, I still kinda like Lego trains and I’m glad I still kept all the track I used to have. So thanks for being a part of my childhood and still uploading content to this day.
been watching this since 2017,and still feels that this is cool bc the amount of effort to set up this which probably took hours to do was insane.good work 😀
Amazing how you still created an awesome track, even though it doesn't look like you had a-lot of straight track. I also have my own Lego collection, including trains (why of-course), but it seems that straight track is quite a rare thing to find, not to mention they are expensive, so I gotta work with that flex track, you know, the noisy type lol. Great video though, I watched it a long time ago, and its still here, keep it up my guy!
Great video ! I'm a just-for-fun lego-train enthusiast and will never get to this level of build, just starting out with a backyard-animal encounter youtube videos :o)
never had lego train sets or powered ones anyways. good to know you can incline them and with what looks to be less effort than with hornby train sets etc(which im a hobbyist of).
Great layout; great video. There is a definite difference between a train set and a railway layout, and you surely created a railway layout! Even the platform of your station was long enough for the passenger train to actually stop at. Of course, I've just realised why my local Lego Store didn't have any track packs yesterday: the entire UK stock was in your house! Thanks for posting. John
Can you give me any instructions as to how you built the overpasses. What did you use to build UP? My son would LOVE to do that and he's getting some of these for Christmas. What do I need to get him to help him so he can build his track with with bridges as you did? Thanks!
Hi, the main incline information is in this video ruclips.net/video/eOINGrV6rbQ/видео.html Information regarding the bridge that was used can be found here: ruclips.net/video/vKCF3fHA1zg/видео.html Hope this helps :)
The Emerald Night doesn't do well on slopes at all, when I run mine it's always a flat track. Most of the trains running on this track have two motors and are much better at handling slopes.
This right here, is my dream layout. I’m so jealous. I would only change one thing though, I would use the new Power Functions 2.0 ones instead of the older ones. I’m so jealous.
great video! I have train 60051 and I am updating my circuit, but I can't get it to go up when raising the tracks, because it hits the nose of the train and gets stuck. Have you made any modifications to the train so that it goes up? Thank you

Great video, a lot of effort required to pull that off. And a lot of money. I like how there are two tracks next to each other pretty much all the way round and how they are all actually connected. I also like how you were running another train alongside the cargo train with the GoPro camera on it. Well done. Commented the day after this video was released.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Getting two trains running alongside each other was the main goal of this project. It took a lot of planning to get it all to work, but it was worth the effort :)

DunksterBricks how long does it take you to completely set the track up?
This setup took a few weeks of preparation and two weekends to film.

how much was the price of everything?
very cool lego train set up. I think this lego train set is the biggest ive ever seen
I like that you hear the clack clack of the train on the rails.
So cool Dude 🤩
My Emerald Night would not have enough traction to pull a tender and coach up these inclines. How do you get enough traction for these inclines?
The Emerald Night doesn't do well on slopes at all, when I run mine it's always a flat track. Most of the trains running on this track have two motors and are much better at handling slopes.
really awesome !! what a giant tracklayout !! uhhh
VERY VERY COOL! ;) nice job bro

I haven't modified the engines to cope with the slopes, I just try to make sure the slopes are smooth enough to let the train pass.
is there any special bricks between tracks and the pillars in the slope..
All info about the inclines are here: ruclips.net/video/eOINGrV6rbQ/видео.html

*Train runs over everybody*
Have you ever used any lepin within your train tracks?
Never, I would never use any of their parts. I prefer the real thing that's spent the money on the R&D.
It probably took a lot of studs to build that!?
It took quite a few :)
This is awesome. Need to get some Lego train action in my life!
yep, they are fun :)
+DunksterBricks your lego train setup is awsome
Awesome!
