What a layout. So impressive. Now that you have all the bugs worked out can you do an oval track that rises on one end in the curve to a height that another train could pass under and then goes back down on the opposite side. I am having trouble getting my train to not derail at the bottom before a curve because of the speed it picks up going down
+Mardigrasman23 the oval track was the plan for this layout but I didn't have the part count. I'm working towards it though. Getting the trains not to derail at the transitions between slope and flat takes a bit of work. Different trains even react in different ways.
Another great setup! Looks like a lot of time and work goes into it to make a very satisfying video. I love the Horizon Express. I really like on train views
When you started placing the trains down I bet you had trouble trying to figure out the ones that are going forward and making sure they don't hit each other
I really like the look of the 3677 red cargo train engine. Also the current 60052 blue cargo train engine is very nicely styled, too. Those would be my two favorites.
Must be nice to have some much track and building materials at your disposal, I was really excited when I saw the video notification and watched it immediately . I always love your designs, good job m8. 🙂
DunksterBricks, thanks for the reply and I hope you get those organization skills down. I love the way you think and put your space to use in the most creative ways. Have a nice day!
What do you think the 2017 passenger train will be? I highly doubt a 2017 cargo train because of the heavy haul. They already did an ICE 1 and 3, Tram (a basic guess for 7938), TGV, and a little "steam" engine.
DunksterBricks thanks for the response, watched it :) have another question, what are the names of long black column-like structures and grey lego columns that you use to support the upper levels of trucks in your videos?
If you go to the LEGO on-line Pick-a-Brick shop and select Crains and Scaffold you will find that piece under that section. They are called Lattice Tower 2x2x10 W/Cross.
@DunksterBricks, do you have any special secrets for getting your trains to climb effectively? With one stock PF motor, and the stock AAA battery box loaded with Duracell AAA batteries, I find that ANY sort of deviation from level produces wheelspin, and lack of traction. I have seen in several of your videos that you have converted some trains to be dual motor. Is that the only change you've made, or do you also add weight? If so, by what method to you increase train weight? Additionally, does the rechargeable battery box weigh more or less than the Alkaline-filled AAA battery box?
So far, the 60052 Blue Cargo, with the included 3 cars. As well as the 10254 Holiday Train, again with its included tender, tree car, and coach/caboose. I found the Blue Cargo to be better than the Holiday train as the track gets away from level, but even it has more wheel spin than I'd like to see on a gradual incline. I'm using an oval of track with 6 straight track segments on each long side. Current (temporary) setup is on a large workbench with a uniform incline of about 2 degrees. Climbing occurs on the curves at each end of the oval. The straight sections the train traverses level, albeit with a 2 degree list to one side or the other.
As long as the Blue Cargo Train (BCT) has the motor on the back underneath the battery it should do fine on the inclines. The Winter Train will have problems as there is no weight on the motor, I found that it can't pull anything up an incline other than itself.
DunksterBricks sorry to be annoying but to get the wires between the cars do you remove the window pieces at the end of each carriage, btw love the vids
Love the layout! things with lots of bridges to me are super cool, plus this is lego and not only that its lego trains. P.S.I like Trains (ASDF Movie Reference(In case you didn't know))

So what's everyone's favourite LEGO Train?
I really like the look of the 3677 red cargo train engine. Also the current 60052 blue cargo train engine is very nicely styled, too. Those would be my two favorites.
DunksterBricks the red cargo train (don't know the number)
those two are really good looking, both have lots of character :)
the red cargo train in this video is the 2015 Heavy-haul train
DunksterBricks I meant set 3677 but that one is nice as well
I like your setups very much plz make more videos

Endothermic Madness
That's a nice set up right there i wish that I could have my look like this
These setups only last a week, trying to walk around and not knock something down is very difficult. They are fun while they last!
@@DunksterBricks but I don't have any moc bridges
@@DunksterBricks i would like to have it set up around my house like that but if I do that ill knock my train over
@@DunksterBricks i have some of the train sets
@@DunksterBricks i was able set up the train track
Guter man

+Abhay Kuwar thanks, I still have things to do on the station. I'll hopefully be working on that now i've gotten this build completed.
LOL This is so awsome!!!!
+Darius Bogdan thanks dude :)
Nice setup! Can you tell which technik parts are you using on the bridges and inclines? :)
Most of the info regarding the bridge/incline structures can be found in this video :)

WOW
How much lego track do you have +how much engines do you have
Uhhh probably 89
Awesome setup! When I first saw it I thought, that trains won't actually ride on it. Also cool music :-)
Thanks, the gradients are actually less severe than the last setup.
Cool 😎

Nice mar,
what background music name is?
I've seen the tutorial for adding lights to the High speed passenger train but how do you add the lights in both ends???
This is how I did it to the Horizon Express, it's the same principal: ruclips.net/video/YlRsM4M47Kk/видео.html
DunksterBricks sorry to be annoying but to get the wires between the cars do you remove the window pieces at the end of each carriage, btw love the vids
Removing the windows would be the best way to go, the wire needs room to move about as the train moves.
DunksterBricks thanks so much for the advice, if I asked any other RUclipsr they would never reply, your the best Lego RUclipsr, thanks 👍
Echt gut
I have but one question. Where exactly does one aquire the necessary components to re-create this railroad and it's locomotives?
C'est magnifique. Tu devrais mettre des bâtiments. En tout cas BRAVO
Merci. Je n'ai pas eu assez de temps pour ajouter des bâtiments ainsi. Peut-être la prochaine fois. :)
DunksterBricks tu peut pas mettre les train dans la gardin

How do you get som many middle carrages to the 60051 train?
Here's a video about how I did it, it's a bit of an old video before I had decent kit.
Great video. For a future video could you do a detailed look at your train station?
Now I have this setup out the way I'll be doing more work on the station so I'll get a video up about it soon.
DunksterBricks Ok can not wait.

could you make a Bachmann display?

I like the Crane's.
cool, I wanted to make sure they were somewhere in the layout :)
Are you only using one motor / train??? They climb hills quite well.
+Thomas Morse all the larger trains have two motors in them.

Muito bacana esse vídeo, comparado ao tento de Lego que ele tem não tenho nada!
Is there a way I could just buy the tracks
And the extra train parts
LEGO sell track packs, sets 7499 and 7895. Extra train parts can be bought from stores on BrickLink.com
Thanks for the info and replying!!!! ;)
I'm sorry, this question may be a bit embarrassing for you, but on what website do you buy these trains?
Can you tell me the price?
+N3D3D Play the LEGO shop online, Amazon, any major toy store stocks these.
