I bet 50$ that you're rich. You literally have 500+ pieces including tracks, trains, power functions and equipment to actually achieve those kinds of setups in most of your videos.
I love the crash at the end! But that's what is so great about lego, instead of buying all the model railway parts and locomotives for thousands of dollars, just make a layout with lego!
You've got LOT of tracks!!! So cool with all your bridges. I definately hope your wifey also likes to cross multiple tracks running in all directions through the flat ...
Lol, I have to thank you. I'm actually buying brand new sealed EN for $240 from a collector in a couple of days and I can convince my parents that this isn't a waste of a hobby with the supporting factors of you and people such as Bricktsar, Glen Holland, and Nater's Mocs. My parents agreed to support my EN overhaul!
You won't believe this. A collector opened a bricklink store selling Horizon Expresses for $100, EN's for $240, Holiday trains for $80, 12v trains for $150-$200, and even $150 Maersks!
DunksterBricks, lol, you should set up a bricklink store selling the extra dark green pieces. Useful to those who are going to piece together the EN. I was going to do so but I found it costs the same as buying a used one. Usually in high demand and you have 2 EN green sets of pieces. Something funny, someone is selling a Maersk in my area for $200. One plan I have for the EN is to fix up some of the coloring on the side of the engine. For example, why did they put brown pieces with black pieces near the wheels? Not to mention, when you put the IR receiver in, your perfect light gray line breaks so I'm gonna get some dark gray 1x4 bricks with 4 studs to fix that. Just some annoying things that I find strange.
DunksterBricks, last thing, I fixed the choppiness for the EN. I did the ol' technic analysis with the help of my 9398 and discovered a big issue. For some reason, lego decided to gear up the EN in its drivetrain by 1:2.4. Seriously Lego?!?! They're running an XL motor at x2.4 speed on 2 wheels out of 6 wheels! The rear drive wheel ends up going too fast to handle to high torque with speed, causing that piston rod jamming issue. XL motors are known to break standard lego parts and really can only be supported by technic pieces. Lego decided to hook it on with 1 technic pin, as if it was an M motor. That's why the gears get strained so much. Gears already strained by L motors for example, in the 9398 crawler which I fixed its gear train from killing itself.
Hi Dunksterbricks Amazing lego train track setup !!! How many tracks do you have or do you need to make these tracks ? I'm very impressed of how you realize double bridges, hightest inclines... I think you could be the lego train world Master because it's hard to find this track concept on the net... Really great job ! See you in the next video...
These used to take a couple of weeks of prep and plan, mostly building the bridges after work. Then once I was ready I would take a Saturday to build and film, and I would also try to film on a Sunday too. It was a fair amount of work.
*|Looks at own track|* Wow! I'm so proud! This looks amazing and it's huge! (Half of my room) *|Watches this video|* Why don't I have this much Lego...By the way, what do you think about the yellow. cargo train? (7939) I have it on my own but I lost some parts. :(
@@DunksterBricks I thought so. We have the same train and even with just 3 cars attached it can't make up half the ascent you have in this video. I have to make some bridge(s) for my 2 6-year-olds as they are trying to kill each other after every train crash 😂 The problem is that we don't have that much space in the room to build bridges with ordinary ascent angle, so we have to build something like in your video. Ahhh... another expense is waiting then... What dads must do for their boys (and for themselves! 😅)
@@DunksterBricks just one more question: How did you build this ascent? Lets say we have 2 tracks connected... At the beginning would be 0 plates, in the middle (at join) 2 plates and at the end of the second track 4 plates? Or is it different?
Hi, I love your track circuit, I just bought my first lego train, but it only comes with a small oval. I'm planning that you need to buy, you could tell me that inclination is the maximum to climb a bridge and what height is the minimum for any train to pass under, thanks for such good content, greeting.
How did you come up with the idea for the bridges and the stands for them. I have a problem with grass when i try and run it outside, so I'm looking for ideas. If you can point me in the right direction me and my son would be most greatful. Thank you
I needed a way to build these railways as easily as possible so came up with the bridge system. This video gives more details on the bridges, I'll be doing a video on the supports soon. ruclips.net/video/axmWpGgYFk4/видео.html
Best layout yet. Great video. Would you do more of the passenger train in your next layout? Just a suggestion. You ran the same trains for nearly the whole video until the end. That was the only thing I did not like. Still great video.
npar06VIP Nice. What train do you have. I only have the 2014 cargo train the 2014 train station and 2 different packs of train track fro my train layout in my city.

Nice!
I will never be able to build this in real life, but at least I can make it in Satisfactory!
That looks like a pretty cool game!
It is!
I have multiple sets of trains too just no room to set them up.... I wish one day I can setup something close to what you did, great work!
What a great load o' track!
The bridge sections can be further improved - for increased stability and smoother transitions.
This is so EPIC i love it's looks good
Nice
I love lego trains😍
The last part was funny. What a crash!...
Das nennt man Lego Fan! :D
Very cool
Awesome!
Great work, thanks for sharing :)
ohhhhh
que super!!!!
Very cool!
You really have a lot of patience to build all those tracks. Unfortunate accident in the end.
Muy ingenioso e interesante maquetas de montaje de plataforma de raíles. Enhorabuena. Bravo 💪
Great video, a lot hard work wen into this. I still haven’t opened my maerske train set yet :)

Good job,buddy, you did great!!!!!
Legocity is like
Wow,~the train is fantastic
Here's 2 questions for you: how long does it take to build this if it was in real time and did you plan ahead?

very nice
It's so beautiful,but you need a big house,LOL
yep, I need a bigger house now. I've run out of space :P
Great video. Did you planned the construction or are you just very good at build train tracks?
+Ganymede I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do, thankfully some of my trains could actually cope with the setup :)
I have a Lego train myself, hi I'm Mason love Legos and your videos are cool!!!
What really irks me is that the lighter trains get the track with less terrain differences
its a great layout any day though
Vob very nice to see
Good
wonderful

wow! Good! ^^

I wish I had that much train track for my trains
Only 3 words: oh my god! :-D

Your great........ superb work done by you
I became a fan of you sir
How come your blue freight train is able to climb such ascent? Did you put 2 motors in it? Thanks!
Yes, the the Blue engine has two engines in it which allows it to pull a lot more.

Hello from México
Great job!
How did you get parts to build bridges and inclines ?
A mix of BrickLink and LEGO pick a brick online.
Is súper cool
I very like Trains
THE BEST 😀😀
Can you please run all your trains on this great layout? I would really like the 7898 running.
I'll give it a try and see if it can cope.
U are a sick lad
I wish i had all the pieces to make the bridge
I like trains
How can we get this many tracks and train , is this a whole set ,, please tell me even I m interested in this please!!!😀😀😀
Wow Impresssive

This is NICE!!!!!! / To jest SUPER!!!!!!
How much money on the tracks
You should do a garden railway nice and big, if you have a garden cause I don't
That is on my list of things to do eventually.
How much time can you afford to spend around such a great setup on the average?
The preparation can take a couple of weeks, the setup and filming is typically done over two weekends.
Geniuos
cool
you are SO smart
I will do this in hte future
Amazing video and beautiful layout but I have 1 question. How do you make the train lights actually light up?
You can find one of the tutorials on how I did that here: ruclips.net/video/sNgm8F41tig/видео.html
DunksterBricks Thank you :)
Nice track layout! Where do they get their power? Do they have a battery?
Cool VIDOS
thanks :)

Most of the other trains can't cope with this layout so I was limited with what I ran.
DunksterBricks Oh. How were you limited?
DunksterBricks can you give a train please, I only have one with I olval train
DunksterBricks I only have 1 train and one ovlal track
