A minor correction. Greymon is based on a Ceratosaurus, not a T-Rex (notice the horns).
A perfect example of why most partner digimon are Rookies. Greymon is great to have around in a sticky situation, but can you imagine how much it would cost to feed that thing?

Ah, you are correct! I got so excited about a dinosaur my brain defaulted to T-rex!

Hmmm... So basically, at best if someone came across a wild Greymon the only guaranteed method of partnership would be a "Partnership of convenience".
Basically a temporary truce/alliance for example: A Tamer heading to a specific destination because there's something important they need to get or enemies to fight encounters a Greymon heading in the same direction to fight some strong enemies could both mutually agree that it'd be a waste of time and energy fighting each other when there's better opponents ahead of them.

What these videos teach us is to raise your partner from a young age so it stays tamed!

    The digi-celebrity himself, greymon.
Fun fact- greymon, and especially metalgreymon and wargreymon, have some beetle elements in them, especially the wings!

5:55 "Oh Shit" is indeed accurate. That thing on its back? ...You don't want to be near once it goes off. Oblivion Bird and Dark Shot are no joke.

One of my all time favorite Digimon. Basic as he is, there's something so cool about him. I love him and Tyrannomon just about the same, they both have aspects I like a lot and they're both very special to me. I've always said that Digimon had the brilliant idea of "What if our Pikachu evolved into our Charizard" so the advertising only needs to focus on one line!
I do think it's interesting that your "would it make a good partner" section is based entirely on the idea of recruiting it at its current level using its "inherent programming" (the assumed personality via the Reference Book) as a base. Obviously an Agumon is easier to recruit (or a Botamon easier to hatch), and if you evolve it _up_ to a Greymon it will be more attached to you, so that would be a less interesting segment. It's not really how I think of Digimon, but I think the variety is what makes this franchise so interesting.
It's not relevant to this video but I figure I'll add on this thought I had to this comment; when you do a video on an Ultimate or Mega-level Digimon, what if you changed the "potential evolution" from things your Digimon could evolve into and instead be different Digimon that could evolve into that Digimon? As an example, if you did MagnaAngemon, rather than listing three branching Mega levels for MagnaAngemon, you could list three Champion branches that could lead _into_ MagnaAngemon. This way when you do a Mega level Digimon that segment doesn't need to get weird or just skipped over, and I feel like Rookies and Champions are the levels of Digimon you can recruit out in the wild whereas Ultimate and Mega are things you need to evolve into (or have a plot coupon to earn their trust). You could still keep the "do they make a good partner" segment because I think Ultimate is either where your Digimon's trust in you is cemented, or it becomes so powerful that it starts to push back against you, depending on its inherent programming and your actions towards it, and that second option could result in some good tension for the segment.

While greymon are aggressive, they are also highly intelligent, I see them as difficult to get as a partner, but once you have one not so difficult to mantain as long as they get to fight regularly

fun fact orange Greymon isn't the OG blue Greymon is

This is why I usually take the Data Book listing about the orange Greymon with a grain of salt the fact of the matter is both the orange and blue subspecies are just called Greymon. I fully believe that the data book is actually speaking about the blue subspecies instead as virus Digimon tend to be a lot more aggressive than their vaccine and data counterparts.

    Good lesson
For me greymon is a good option only if it's Tai's agumon case : a greymon keep this previous form's personaliy

Do Gowkumon. Him basically is inspired by sun wukong (monkey king). Especially funny to know that other digimon like Erlangmon or Weilingmon exists and a stage above him.

Could one tame an Agumon or Koromon and have it digivolve into a less aggressive Greymon?
    But Tyrannomon looks better anyways

That's pretty much how it works in the show. Taichi's Greymon is basically just Agumon in a bigger body.

No, absolutely not. We have never seen an example of this happening. Certainly not in any sort of anime or anything.

Umm... you said OG Greymon... but did a video showing Adventure Greymon.
OG Greymon is Greymon(Virus Type), Which Is Blue/Grey in color...
Also, The First Digimon Short film, which was adapted to the first act of The American Digimon: The Movie, Actually Shows what A Wild Agumon AND Greymon Would behave like... Wild, but not unnecessarily Destructive... Put simply, There are Four Greymon variants, except three ARENT Variants. Greymon(Virus), Greymon(Vaccine), and Greymon(Data), the latter of which is also called Blueflare Greymon... Original Greymon WAS Grey-ish. Vaccine Greymon, the Adventure version, is orange/yellow with blue markings, and data version, also called bluflare, is Blue, with a different Headplate shape.
The only important Variant is Geogreymon, Which is still treated as a base greymon...
Its implied that vast packs of greymon exist, and constantly fight, in the hopes of digivolving... They apparently have a rivalry with Tyrannomon And Growlmon Species, yet get along with Veedramon Species(this includes Veemon and Exvmon), according to Some game lore...
There are FOUR Metal Greymon Variants, plus TWO Rise Greymon Variants... And naturally, Wargreymon, blackwargreymon, victorygreymon, blitzgreymon, Shinegreymon, shinegreymon Burst and Ruin modes, Burning Greymon, Ancient Greymon, etc...
And im sure there are others... or will be.
Its THE most populous line. SO MANY GREYMONS.
