That tracking camera is so cool, it seemingly actually moving to keep centred on Lewis is amazing, that plus the stabilisation on the LewTwo vlogs is a crazy good visual that seems really underutilised
This reeks of a failed Kickstarter device or something. A gimmick that tries to fix problems that no one really has. Most of the stuff this thing does, your phone can already do, and that slips right into your pocket.

That translate app does exist. Both Android and Apple's out-of-the-box translation services can be given microphone access and they will attempt to convert what is said into text, then translate it, and can then optionally speak that too. There's probably paid apps that do the same, but better, but in my experience, Google Translate (for example) is more than enough just to be conversationally comprehendible.
google translate is awful in my opinion, deepl is way better

Love the vid Lew but a suggestion for your audio. It seems that the noise floor of your mic is jumping up whenever you're not talking, probably a result of having a pretty intense compressor. Sounds sharp but if you want to reduce the noise you can use something called a source expander. Waves has one, it's like $50au but it can reduce the noise by like 40db while otherwise being transparent, just make sure to put it before your compressor.
Edit: just to clarify, it's an audio plugin that's compatible with final cut, not a hardware thing!

I know someone that sadly lost his vision due to a genetic disease. He used to get hyped for better developments on audio technology and the possibility that AI voice assistants would be a thing sometime now. Too bad that he can only use his android voice controls on a touch screen device, something that he clearly hates as he uses a walkman nwz for music just because of the fact that is has real buttons.

The translator thing is really cool but that's probably the ONLY reason why people would get it because that is pretty convenient to have it translate so fast. Kinda reminds me of that little duck thing people put in their ear to translate everything in that one movie, Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. But like you said there's probably already an app for it. Until then, there is google translate.

Once upon a time; before the IPhone came into the market ie smart phone, the general consensus was; “why do I need a computer attach to my phone and yet alone camera?””this is a stupid idea.”. Now, 20 plus years later, the iPhone has become a vital communication tool - not just a computational level but also as a documentation camera. This same question variable; is happening right now with the AI pin as a wearable. The AI pin won’t be for everyone, especially for those who had their attention span hijacked by the smartphone culture ie; and those social media junckies etc. In those twenty plus years, the evolution of the smart device with the interactive screen has sadly doubled its intent to literally “cut-off” our attention span and the way to interact with each other and has made society zombie like. We have a family member who was injured terribly by a hit-and-run driver who was on their phone, and nearly killed him. Having this, I am all in to help usher in this new and exciting technology.. ❤❤
