You already can go outside for a walk, see some friends and remain focussed in the moment without your smartphone. That's how humans have existed until just recently. Its great. You don't need to know what your looking at. You can actually remember things without taking notes and if you forget, thats ok too. You can compose a song in your head and does it really always matter what time it is? If you are hungry, eat. Tired, go to bed. You don't have to wait for a functional version of an Ai Pin before you can leave your phone at home.

    • @TheManinBlack9054

The idea behind it is great, and with more fluent features, an abetter projector, better battery life, a more fluent AI voice with a faster response time etc. this device could be a game changer. It reminds me of a futuristic beeper.

There is something I like about it. Granted this could be an app on my watch, but the camera had some nifty tricks. V2, I would offload the “brains” to a smartphone app, loosing the separate SIM card, kill the projector gimmick, and lower the price. But there is potential for something cool here.

The concept of this device is really cool. I wish they made a version which offloads all the processing and internet dependencies to the smart phone in your pocket. This would increase the battery life and not have the need to pay for subscription. Also, this device should not cost more than $200.

Honestly speaking this device cant replace a smart phone ,BUT with some updates ,upgrades we can consider it a promising alternative for some users. Not invasive ,not distracting and if you use it straight to the point can be very useful.First of all the connection provided by TMobile its poor and expensive. Second the device per se it’s expensive as well, third the AI open service in this particular case its defective and/slow. The sum of all this factors in conjunction with the idea that this is a smartphone replacement is a pavement to send the pin to a grave before giving the creators the opportunity to develops all its potential .This is a matter of common sense and patience I would like to have a small talk with the parents of the creature to try to help them with this device because the idea is too good (in my opinion)to discard it prematurely because the influencers ,RUclipsrs or whatever, like they did with the Essential phone which was one of the finest piece of engineering Ive ever saw.Sorry this is too long but sometimes things needs patience.Btw your presentation with the device own opinion was great.Thank you

I can't help but think we're seeing overly negative reviews because of the "spiral of silence" theory, which suggests people may avoid voicing opinions that differ from the perceived majority view. Despite its flaws, early adoption of AI technologies like the Humane AI Pin provides a significant advantage. Engaging with these technologies early on prepares us for a future deeply integrated with AI. Those who start early will have a distinct edge as they influence and adapt to AI advancements.
