Bet you didn't know I was summoned by any mortal who dares but whisper my name. Great video and advice on soloing Rob!

Good video. I've been following you for quite a while and like the content you create. I have been doing my own bit of solo play, on and off for years, but recently took it a bit more serious. I agree with you, pick any system you are familiar with and give it a try - I believe you can play any rpg solo. If you have an idea in mind about what you would like your character(s) to do, you may not even need a gm emulator/oracle. Picking an adventure and running through it works too.

Welcome and thanks for the kind words! I agree. I haven't done the "run through a module" solo yet. But I have been thinking about how that would play out and plan to try it this year.

I've tried the Call Of Cthulhu solo which was pretty much a choose your own adventure type and was very good.
A Savage Worlds one which was not very good because it didn't explain much at all. You had to do the majority of the work too.
I'm looking forward to trying out the Star Trek Adventures solo game this weekend. It sounds like it'll be great.

With the Oracle in Scarlet Heroes I added D100 Dungeon and now my book of Shadowdark.
And that's more than enough for me.

The dungeon generation rules from Micro-Chapbook is a very easy to run way to make a location and populate it as you go.

The neat thing about the single character mechanic in Scarlet Heroes is that you can apply that to any version or variation of D&D.

I have been solo for some time now. This year I am shifting my way of playing trying something new. I want to start focusing my games from the GM seat and using an oracle for the characters. I really feel Mythic will work better for running characters and gives me more option when making roles. I am always trying something new and feel this will be interesting in the solo world.

How does one get one of your cool stickers of your channel logo? Would look good in my game journal.
