at least (at the VERY least) they did it before Dennis Machine Gun Thompson went. That would have been tragic. EDIT: and now he's gone too. end of an era

RIP MR Kramer, I am from Eastern Europe and found your band MC5 and The Stooges,Dead Boys, New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers in 2012, when I was really depressed and in really bad place! Your music helped me a lot and years later I still listen!

It makes me smile to see Wayne still playing. The MC5 were a big part of my teen years. I saw the MC5 many times and recall seeing Wayne play at a bar in Lincoln Park years after they broke up.

It really pisses me off knowing about his lost, not only because he was so full of life and energy but also because he was one of rock stars that was actively working and guitar oriented, without getting contaminated by the crap of the current industry and selling out his work, he was true to his roots and loyal to his instrument to the core. RIP Rock man.

These tutorials from Wayne are absolutely magical. He went out of his way to pass on the legacy of MC5 to the younger generation.
I watched one of the videos with my partner's son, and then we sat down and played the parts of Rambling Rose together.
I mentioned this to Wayne in the comments, and he was full of praise and encouragement, saying that was exactly why he was making the videos.
We lost a truly great man today.
    Thanks Wayne for everything.

Groovin' to the jangle guitar behind the solo. Come to think about it, I hear a lot of offset second guitar parts in your songs. I love it.

Do one of yours like "Rats of Illusion"...I'd like to see if we are doing it correctly... probably not, we are also doing "Back To Detroit", "Wild America" and a few others. Saw you on tour with your band, and then first time you guys did a sort of reunion tour in Cleveland, and then the 50th MC5 tour at House of Blues in Cleveland, wish you'd come back this way again...best of wishes to Brother Wayne and the crew!
