One big criticism I have of this otherwise great map of the city of Gotham is the lack of dark & gritty alleys. Its all large avenues & huge skyscrappers/buildings. Where are the apartments where people live? Those are the places that define Gotham city to me.
Arkham Knight takes place in the 3 oldest islands of the city if i remember correctly so they're not really residential. I do agree on the alleyways though to a point.
Im pretty sure thats because the map is the more modern parts of Gotham City where as compared to Arkham City which was formally old Gotham had alot more dark alleys and old architecture.
the reason nobody is there is because thecity got evacuated because of scarecrow's terrorist attack, idk why the US military or N.A.T.O hasnkt com eto gotham to prevent the militia oe scarecrow from taking over other cities

This is ridiculously small for such a relatively new game. It's like Gotham Demo. Where is the City of Gotham? I was installing this game but I remembered that was an issue with the map the first time I played this game that's why I'm here. Now I remember. This claustrophobic map. You have a super car, you can fly and you are like a fly in box, like a bird in a cage. Pathetic

This was made in unreal engine 3 even tho epic games said it was completely impossible and rocksteady made it possible

its also incredibly brightly lit all over! doesnt look like theres a single dark corner at all
This looks amazing. I can only imagine how great it would have been with people in the streets and traffic on the roads.

I love this map, but it just would be perfect if we have Arkham Island, Old&New Gotham, plus Wayne Manor and Gotham Mainland area.

I like this game, but god damn it, the map is just so small.
It does feel small when you glide or drive the Batmobile, but just running around and looking makes it feel huge.
The visuals are just mesmerising. I'm in love.
If only it wasn't made to suit the batmobile so much

Downtowns are known for being congested so I don't know what you want from the game.
