Absolutely! My Dad got a 2 year old X5 M40i and its such an amazing car. Got for half the price new and the car was barely used. Incredible interior, space for days and powerful enough engine.
X6 doesnt lose that much value compared to all other BMW models. You will have to wait like 7 years or so. Good luck waiting to buy car that will be expensive in repairing just because you want to save on initial cost.

Honestly I'd say Lexus LC500, it comes in convertible or hard top, and has a 5.0L Naturally aspirated V8 that sounds amazing Can be easily found with some miles on it for under $100k, even current model year, they're super reliable, and finally got an updated interior recently

That's what the M60i is. It has the S68 motor that can eventually be tuned to make the same (or more) power as the X6M while being more comfortable. The X6M is great, but it's very stiff so that's more track capable even though hardly anyone will ever track one. The M60i is truly the sweet spot.
This is far from the truth. The frame and the parts of the interior are the same. However the entire chassis as whole is reworked to be a M branded vehicle. Engine is similar however they don’t share the same engine code, you’re running a different suspension, different differential, engine tuning, along side with all the appearances both exterior and interior. Engine tuning isn’t something that doable on these new bmw v8 with the new electric assistance. DME is locked and tuning isn’t available as of now. Yes you’re getting a similar vehicle but your money is getting you an actual M car not average bmw
Friend, I have this m60i and I tell you, first of all, you have to know that you have the machine for yourself just by seeing it and getting in it, its sounds, its reliability, its precision. Second, you barely have any road, and it's worth all the wait. I dare say that in launch control it leaves a Camaro and a Mustang behind. It's a runaway horse. I've even gotten a little dizzy from the beastly acceleration.
BMW is much less stingy with their v8s than Mercedes. The irony is that's what you would expect from a Merc... how times have changed.
