I really like 1920. But one day my wife mistakenly bought me 1910, and I was initially frustrated. However, after I tried it, I realized that 1910 was the better bourbon, hands down...for me at least. That is some delicious juice!
OMG, what a great flight. I love the 1910 and 1920 and the signature makes a great daily sipper. I also recently tried the Old Forester rye and it is great as well. Old Forester is putting out some great stuff.
Have not tried the 1910, yet, but love the 1920, the Signature 100, and the rye (drinking it right now). Old Forester has some excellent stuff. Need to buy the 1910.... have been trying to back off the purchasing, lately. I want to try mixing the 1920 and the 1910.
This was by far one of my favorite episodes. 3 great pours no matter how they scored. Obviously you both put them way above their price point. I can't wait to blind my 2 OF store picks.
Great video Bourbon Blind. Because of your older videos, i went out and bought the OF 100 proof last week to add to my 1910 and 1920. Just like Kyle in this video, 1910 is my favorite, but it is hard to argue with the value of the signature 100 proof. It's a great daily drinker.
love watching your channel! Don't throw out 1920...... Take it down to half, add 1910, make a 1915 which would be the best of all the old forester expressions.
Having just gotten back into Bourbon and having several barrel proofs on my shelf now, Old Forester 86 is my daily drinker atm, I would have no issues switching between the 86 and the 100 i don’t think
I believe that your experience with the 1920 was diminished by having a bourbon that has been extra aged in an extra toasted barrel just beforehand. Change the drinking order and your taste buds may feel differently.
He probably never admitted to himself that he doesn’t prefer it. Sometimes a popular song isn’t that great to your preference and that can apply to whiskey too.
Surprised no one mentioned that the 1920 was a fresh bottle so you were drinking the neck pour. I think the results would’ve been different if it was open for some time like the other 2. I’ve blinded the OF products a bunch, and 1920 always dominates. But I never like it as much on the neck pour.
It's hard to spend $68 (1920) on a bourbon and say you dont like it even when it is actually incredible. I haven't had the 1910 yet (soon) but the 100-proof signature is unbeatable for the price compared to the 1897 bib at $23 more? great review guys 🥃Cheers!
I have always liked the 1910 better than 1920 but that is because I put flavor over proof. The 1910 is just bursting in flavor and I always keep a backup in the cabinet for when I empty a bottle. When I say I like flavor over proof doesn't mean I don't like high proof. Bookers is extremely high proof and I like it better than 1910. But 1910 costs less so I can drink it more often.
I blinded knob creek 100 proof with evan williams bib and wild turkey 101. Twice. Picked evan williams as best both times. WTF? Blinds can do funny things.
I don't love 1920 🤷♂️ makes me feel like I'm dumb. But then I watch whiskey tubers put it last in blinds (ur not the first) and say hmm maybe its good not great.
You like what you like bud. It's always a good idea to revisit and try things blind, but if you've found you have a consistent opinion, then that's your opinion and it's 1000% correct. I've never been a fan of 1920 either, it's just fine.
The prices are way off. Y’all must be drinking the super limited stuff on the regular to be pricing it that off..to answer the existential crisis..y’all were drinking top neck.. 1920 and 1910 get so much better with time and air in the bottle. I like the intro and added on bottles being shown when talking is a nice touch
@@BourbonBlind After buying both and testing them again.. I'm gonna say I like the 1910 better. I think Woodford Double Oaked when air is in the bottle definitely gets more of that chocolate note than the 1910.
You totally glossed over the fact that Signature beat 1920, I feel like that's the most important thing to take away from this. I actually wasn't surprised by that, if I were to guess my ranking it would be the same as yours Kyle. 1920 has always been meh to me, it was a huge let down after hearing how much everyone loves it.
HUGE OF fan here. Appreciate your perspective completely but honestly and respectfully have no idea how anyone arrives at this conclusion. So funny how our taste buds are so different. OF 1920 is terrific and straight 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 for the money. One of the all time values.
Yeah, I was totally blown away that the signature 100 beat out 1920, that's more what I was freaking out about. Apparently the 100 proof is the big time double winner
Michters has mash funk in it. Their sour mash bourbon has a great Bubblegum note that I have not gotten in other bourbons. Their regular stuff I like to give as gifts to people who are new to the bourbon game or old people who “aren’t bourbon fans” but drink highland scotches. Always a safe bet to impress those parties. 1920 gets better with air, time and water.
"1920 is so much better than 1910" it's not lol. That 1910 is the best sub $60 bottle on the market. So sweet, so smooth and a low enough proof to sip and sip on
OF 1910 is incredible, but I have found that it peaks and drops off very quickly as it oxidizes. I would highly recommend transferring the juice at it's peak into 4 or 8 oz. sample bottles to preserve it.
Blind tastings are always weird. I have to say, though, that the 1920 looked like a neck pour, and it was tasted after the 1910. For me the 1920 is the clear winner, followed by the signature. The 1910 was probably the first bottle I have poured down the sink. It tasted like burnt Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate mix and cardboard to me. Don’t hate me.
I really like 1920. But one day my wife mistakenly bought me 1910, and I was initially frustrated. However, after I tried it, I realized that 1910 was the better bourbon, hands down...for me at least. That is some delicious juice!
It's pretty dang amazing!
I just bought my first bottle of 1910. May be the best bourbon I own, and I own way too many bottles.
OMG, what a great flight. I love the 1910 and 1920 and the signature makes a great daily sipper. I also recently tried the Old Forester rye and it is great as well. Old Forester is putting out some great stuff.

I’m drinking old forrester 100 proof now it’s almost 3 am I work 2nd shift love your videos
3 of my favorites. Should be fun. I think I've blinded these as well and don't always get the same results.
I have around 30 open bottles atm and find myself consistently reaching for OF 100. It's great stuff.
It's just so good, and not expensive
Having just gotten back into Bourbon and having several barrel proofs on my shelf now, Old Forester 86 is my daily drinker atm, I would have no issues switching between the 86 and the 100 i don’t think
This was a lot of fun. I still love the blind concept! Now you just gotta mix them and enjoy a nice 1915! Cheers.
Gotta love a good blind, great job fells, the palate never lies especially when you have no idea what it is you're tasting. Cheers!
Thanks Scott!

Great video with 3 bourbons I love and keep on my bar. Enjoy!
Thanks Guy, Cheers!
Long story short- OF punches WAY above the belt, that's something those who drink it already knew. Good review guys.
Finally I found it even better than what I was looking for... OF 100 vs 1920..this even has 1910
Love the honesty
If it's not an honest review, can it be called a review? Lol. Thanks, Cheers!
1910 is Absolutely phenomenal! Right now I have all 3👍🥃

Yoooo I am digging the Juan solo chuys shirt! Worked at one and bartended at jt for 4 years! I can see this man also likes Creamy Jalapeño ranch!
I didn’t realize you didn’t know the 3 whiskeys at all until you started price guessing lol.

K. This does it. I’ve held off on 1910, now I’m getting it.
I’ve enjoyed 1910 far more than 1920. It’s also harder to get where I’m at.
Damn it, I have to get 1910 now! Love the blind format.
Have you guys done a blind on Early Times BIB? If not please do so. It's a sleeper.

The glasses weren't in the same order. Did you fix it off camera or did miss something?
We fixed it while Aaron was trying to explain to us. I thought it would be easier to keep track of left to right instead of inside to outside
Those are all quality bourbons and very good at their price points.
I prefer 1910 to 1920. And Sig to 1897.
The pours were center to outside, while the tests were left to right. So... 1920 and 1910 were cross-scored.
Blind is blind - embrace it my man.
True story!
I blinded knob creek 100 proof with evan williams bib and wild turkey 101. Twice. Picked evan williams as best both times. WTF? Blinds can do funny things.
They sure can! And beyond that, we like what we like, and EW BiB is a solid bourbon for sure
Fred Minnick just blind picked EW BiB as his best everyday pour
I have three bottles of 1910 and one each of the 1920 and signature. Enough said.
Speaking of flights...is a 101 flight still in the works? Surprised on the 1920!🤯🤯🤯
With the mic you use, is it an omni directional or is it some level of cardiod?
I believe it's super cardioid. Samson C02

I'm on east coast...what's a good price for these???
Everyone sleeps on 1910. Most blind reviews have it above 1920. It’s my go to on a Friday night.
Maybe it doesn't get as much hype as 1920 but I wouldn't say it's slept on. Did you know that there was a shortage of it?
Good job! It if delicu!!!

I believe we've done one already, I have two more to do that is on the list

Banana, peach ,apple caramel cherry ,pear ,sweet dried 😂I’ll say banana cherry pie peach berry pear😊dried wet apple green not red apple pie 😅

Unpopular opinion: I got a bottle of 1920 and did not understand what the hype was about.
In my opinion, the newer 1920 bottles are not like the older ones. The last 1 or 2 I picked up I was disappointed in.
Good to know, I'll have to keep an eye on that
