Hi rishi, you are most welcome.
For the lane sharing, you could have done better by using the manuals block diagram
HI Pete Misc, welcome back. Good point again. I will take note and request for documentation for that. Thank you!
@ you can get the manual from by way of the internet, no need to request, just download it.
@ I don’t think you understand this. I do know I can download it from the internet but when I have these boards. They are not even release yet, that’s why I will have to request for it.
@ it’s already on the MSI website, I just downloaded the manual and was looking at it, perhaps for future boards you may have to ask your contacts for the manual

Setting Ryzen 7000/9000 FCLK Frequency to anything higher than 2200 (good for Ryzen 8500G-8700G) will almost certainly crash your system. You recommended an FCLK of “3000” (see time stamp 49:05), but I suspect you were thinking about MEMCLK).
Additionally, UCLK=MEMCLK is appropriate for RAM speeds from 6400 and lower, whereas UCLK=MEMCLK/2 is appropriate for 8000 speed RAM, for example.

On Off Georg, welcome to my channel. Thank you for sharing, greatly appreciated it.. infact I get to learn from your experience too 👍
I’ve had endless issues with this board. Firstly, I had 2 different Corsair RAM kits which were on the compatibility list which wouldn’t even post above stock 4800mhz. That cost me a lot of time and money in shipping and returns. Second issue is 2 of my USB ports are intermittently stopping working. On top of that, still getting random BSOD that I can’t even work out. The MSI forums are full of complaints about this board. I would not recommend it at all. Go for the Carbon version which there are no complaints about.
Hi PLAYER2035, welcome to my channel, hmm. interesting, I did use my corsair vengence cl30 6000 EXPO kit and have been using this for almost 2 weeks before I do this content. I have no issues with it .. be it rams, m.2 or even the USB ports.

Would you recommend leaving the bottom pads unpeeled in the M.2 slot with a single sided SSD? I heard some people resort to 0.5mm additional thermal pads to make better contact with single sided SSD's...
Hi Leopardipzg, welcome to my channel. When I tested it. Not only this board but to other boards. There are no contact at the bottom of the single side nvme. So it’s safe to just leave it. You can also apply additional pad to touch both side, but to me it does not make a big difference in thermal, so I will just leave it.

Hi Kleo, how do you remove the chipset heatsink to replace the cmos battery?
HI One3-Daybreaker, welcome to my channel. You will need to locate and unscrew those screws that are holding on the the X870E chipet at the bottom, once the whole piece is out, you will then be able to replace the CMOS battery.
This motherboard or Nova? Nova is only $50 more; which would you choose? 🤔
HI 56uxT56b, welcome back. this board has a new model which is the X870E, that board is good and on par with Nova. either board will work fine. my advise is look for the X870E Tomahawk and compare the price with the X870E Nova, get which ever is cheaper.
Fellow X870 Tomahawk owners, have you updated to the latest beta bios? Any issues / bugs? I'm holding out for a non-beta bios before I upgrade, but knowing MSI it might be months, so ...
Hi Zabojnik, welcome to my channel, so far nope, no issues even when using to compile my work, plug in m.2 enclosure, projecting to type-c display and such, but do note, I am using a 9950X and not 9800X3D, anyway the beta bios are to test the X3D processors. hope this helps 😉
@@KleoYan Any additional info helps, thanks, though I'm still unsure whether I should bother with a beta bios. I want to tweak the hell out of the 9800x3D and ram and I know I'll want to upgrade to a 'stable' bios version as soon as it releases, so I'd have to do it all again, if I were to set everything up with a beta bios now.
Anyway, it's not that big of a deal, I'll manage. :)
@@mofous Hi, I strongly suggest you to stay with non beta bios. you see, I have forget to mentioned, In general, content creators or reviewers should be the ones to test it when these motherboard are loan to us. The board feels very sturdy, and heavy. I heard in other reviews that the bottom grey PCI-E power connector is there to provide additional power to the X16 PCI-E slot.
