I am absolutely stunned by the sound of the 18" bass drum!! It's just unreal! To me is has the most musical sound of all these kits. Great comparison!! Thank you!
Personally, I can't hang with the rack tom in a snare stand. It has to do with positioning for me. What are my options since none of the bass drums are drilled for a tom mount? I was thinking maybe replacing one of the tom lugs with one of Ludwig's Atlas mount brackets and then flying it off a cymbal stand. Do you think that'd work?
The Atlas mounts work well and are an easy replacement! -- If you're interested and want to purchase a kit from us through Reverb, just be sure to send a message about it and we can include one. reverb.com/shop/stevemaxwelldrums-chicago?query=fire%20burst Ludwig also has an Atlas rail mount system for bass drums (if you prefer that positioning) that we carry in our shop, they just replace two lugs on the bass drum. Again, just let us know and we can work something out! - Jake
I was more impressed with sound & tone of the 20" kick than any of them. The 22" didn't do it for me at all. Good thing I heard this video in time. I've been struggling over which size to order. Thanks to you, I have more perspective now. What was the length of the 20", 14 or 16?

Would love to see a Ludwig Classic Maple comparison video with the rounded edges vs the standard edges that Ludwig offers.
I'm a fan of Ludwig drums, but I have to say the hi hats sound great as well as your playing!
I love the sound of Ludwig drums, I'm a life (63 yrs) long fan. These drums sound excellent!
Same age! Me too! 👍
Stunning Ludwig products! And Noah...your just so cool!
really nice kit! Great playing as well Noah, loved the 20" bass drum sound and the middle tuning especially.
Hey Noah, just subscribed. Your touch is amazing mate. You absolutely nailed it. 😎
A lot of companies around the world make great drums, but there is something "special" about LUDWIG!
Yeah, it's like a Gibson Les Paul or fender strat..The sound of many hit records and unique drummers..
I love the 20" kick Very punchy and great tone! Id tune the toms down a bit for my taste though Great playing Noah!
Lovely looking and sounding drums and cymbals particularly liked the 6.5 snare tasty playing by the way👌
Beautiful Drums!
lovely finish!
Great playing as always Noah and great video 🎉😊
Love Ludwig's 24" and 26"
I can drum, Noah can really really really drum
That 18x14 sounds pretty punchy, and I'm sure with a muffled drum head such as super kick, it can easily pass for a 20x14..
Is the 22 a 22x14? The Tom’s sound amazing in all tuning ranges, this video just proves to me I need at least three bass drums 🤣 and a Ludwig snare 😂

Ludwig makes a Tom mount you can attach to the lug on the bass drum, check it out

Hey Noah, did you dress like that on purpose to compliment the drums? Great review and demo!
