SCORE!!!!! I love every Ridgid tool I have ever owned. I still have my cordless hammer drill i got about 8 years ago, still works like it came off the shelf. love to see them give away some cordless palm sanders with a battery and charger, would come in handy around the shop.
i got the 3 piece brushless kit around black Friday. it came with two tools and I opted for the reciprocating saw and the trim router. I couldn't be happier with the tools I got. huge improvement over my craftsman 19.2v I had forever. that brad nailer would be awesome to own but at this point I couldn't swing the price.
One other ridgid tool you should look into is the 7 1/4 inch chop saw the thing is great no dragging cords around an cuts up to a 2x8 I love it it works great
Hammer drill is awesome. I've never had one but a buddy of mine got one when they first came out. The amount of power it has is just insane and it doesn't run the battery down.
Rigid makes strong durable power tools. I recently bought the cordless Rigid 18 gauge brad nailer. Great nailer!! Recommend to anyone. My next purchase will most likely be the trim router. Ultimately a planer and table saw will hope see their ways into my shop. Thanks for the video!!
We switched our trucks over to rigid because all their tools are near or at the top in performance. The lifetime warranty made it a no brainer especially when you consider free batteries for life!
I'm a big Ridgid fan myself. The vast majority of my shop is Ridgid and I have absolutely no complaints. Cordless trim router and the rest of the Jobmax attachments are next for me. Cheers.
man that's really Awesome that Ridgid did that. i can tell you this in all honesty, i used to run nothing but DeWalt cordless tools and without fail every single year would have to replace my drill and/or impact. so finally i said what the hell and tried Ridgid tools and purchased the gen 4 kit several years ago and never looked back or purchased any other brand of power tools since, including all the big stuff with cords. in fact i purchased the gen 5 kit as soon as i saw that they had new stuff on the shelf unknowingly on the 2nd day it came out at home depot. Ive got almost every 18v tool they have except for the 18 gauge brad nailer that i want /need and the new stuff i just saw, router and light which again i need. rigid freaking rocks man, especially the warranty, that Ive never ever had to use!! my entire tool line up is all Ridgid with the exception of 1 DeWalt angle grinder that wont die and I'm not gentle on my tools. everything is always getting tossed around from tool box to different job site daily as I'm a landlord myself and also property manager for my mom and aunt with a combined total of +/-215 units between us and i personally do around 75% of the contractor/construction/trades type work myself. Again all my power tools are Ridgid and have never had so much as a battery go bad, i take that back, i did burn up the first one handed corded sawzall they put out about 2 years ago, and immediately when i did i sent someone to get another one, and it was the newer one that is smaller, quieter, and lighter. Those by the way are amazing for demo and tight spaces. Sorry so long, just giving my 2 sense for what its worth. good job on your video presentation by the way, good for a beginner. i look forward to seeing some of your work on this channel as this was actually the 1st of your videos that I've come across. ALSO... That light would probably mount on a stand with your camera and be used as fill light being that it has a dimer and has those adjustable wings attached ** how do i enter the giveaway for the router, nail gun and light?
I’m so happy for you and jealous at the same time! I have been buying Ridgid tools lately because of the quality AND because of the Lifetime Warranty with their tools. You just have to register on-line which doesn’t take much time but is so worth the effort knowing they will always back up their product. I’m very interested in seeing how the battery lasts in your new 18V router. Please use it and post the results as I’m interested in purchasing one next! Love the show!!
What a nice experience!!! I can't go to home depot without passing the powertool aisle and see all the Ridgid tools there are! And you just opened all in just 16 min!! so lucky!! That hammer drill sounds sweet!!
Wow, Rigid really stepped up, that's awesome! As a veteran about to close on his first house, if Rigid wanted to help out putting together my kit that'd be great! Enjoying the videos, keep 'em coming 👍
The 18g brad nailer is awesome. I bought the Ryobi first but found the Ridgid to just feel better in my hand and the lifetime warranty helps justify the cost difference. I'm impressed enough to start migrating away from Milwaukee.
Working on getting the beginnings of a workshop put together. Decided on Ridgid as my platform based on quality and price point. That's what brought me to your channel. It was nice to see all these different tools and I like that you aren't trying to sell something. Seemed like honest first impressions. I only have the brushless 18v hammer drill and the impact drill, but I'm looking to get the circular saw, miter saw, and a decent sized shop vac from them next. I'd love to see any of those, maybe a table saw, and definitely higher ah batteries.
I am trying to rebuild my workshop. I need a new drill, a plane, a lathe, and a drill press. If you have any of those looking for a new home, I would greatly appreciate them. Great videos, thanks for taking the time to make these.
Wood.Work.LIFE. I build whatever my wife needs. From spoons to inside out door pocket baby gates to refinishing a 1957 Metzendorf camper to restoring 1800's hand tools. I have some tools... drill saws electric and hand a square some measuring tapes and lots of imagination. I work with low cost materials and recycled hardware when possible. I can send you some pictures of my creations if you're interested.
I have made a chisel mallet by carving a piece of fire wood, but the handle needs some work and I have been dying to try some turning. I have been researching how to make my own press and lathe, but haven't had the time or materials to start yet. With 3 year old twin daughters, I don't have a lot of free time to work on my projects unless it's one my wife has asked me to build. She has the utmost confidence in my ability to make whatever she can think of for me to make. It's nice that she is so confident in my ability to make stuff she wants out of whatever we have available.
The ridgid line is great. I have some of their drills from a few years ago and multi tool, looking forward to trying out the brushless. You'll enjoy the new tools. Solid tools at a good price.
I am what I would consider a slightly advanced Do it yourselfer. I have many tools from Ridgid in 18V and 12V lines, and also one of their tiles saws. Some of the other brands may be more appealing to professionals but I just don't think you can beat Ridgid at their price point. The tools are top notch, very durable and ergonomic, battery life is good, and they have always performed for me. I always despised cutting anything with a circular saw and never felt comfortable with them until I used the Gen 5X unit, not even the brushless one, and it cuts like butter and just feels right. Oh and that LSA on tools (and batteries which come with the tools) just can't be beat and the registration process is easy.
wow. That was like christmas. Would love to get all them tools. lol Im a contractor and have been slowly switching over to rigid. I find their tools more durable. Last longer on batteries. And have more torque and speed. Jusy caught you video. Looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks Steven, I hope you subscribed I look forward to seeing you around. Glad to hear I ended up with some good tools. What kind of contractor are you?
Hi, I'm a freshly started handy man located in Mount Vernon NY.. Arts & Culture photographer is my profession.. I love tools and recently I came to love ridged tools.. so far I have about 4 cordless tools from ridgid.. I would love to have the 18 guage nailer and the 7 1/4 miter saw cordless..
Great review! I've wanted to take the leap to ridgid cordless tools for a while but as of right. NOw I have porter cable and Milwaukee platforms so I haven't had a need to add another battery platform. But those cordless trim routers are the cats meow in my opinion! I can see myself grabbing their miter saw, hybrid table saw, and that router in the future! Those are the three tools I need to upgrade in my shop.
Bryce MacLean The trim router was next on my list regardless. I really hope that thing is all it has been hyped up to be. That little router with a 5ah battery I hope to become good friends with.
Hi Rick I've just watched your video about all the 18V tools you've got and that is nice, you'll hear if there were any of the rings I wanted and there were some pieces. STEALTH FORCE driver, drill driver combo, router that I could use. I think it was a good video and looking forward to more from you. Friend from Denmark
As far as a give-away, ANY of the Gen5 tools would be a blessing, but apart from like a combo kit I'm pretty interested in getting one of the palm routers. :)
They seem to make some pretty nice stuff. The only ridgid stuff we seem to get in the uk is the plumbing stuff, real basic tools and thread cutters, no power tools. Definitely should be selling all this good stuff over here! If triton can expand from UK to rest of europe and america, surely ridgid can do the same!
I just bought my first combo kit from ridgid today I wanted to see how good they are. I been buying dewalt for 25 years. I have too many to count. I like to get my hands on the Circular saw.
I don't own any Ridgid tools, ( all Dewalt, and Millwakee, ) But I do own 19 of their packout tool boxes... I started buying them about 6 years ago...I think they're the BEST out there... Extremely rugged and can take the everyday abuse... I am curious as to how their tools would hold up... on the pro level...
Makes sense now after using it a little bit, thanks. The impacting action is far quieter. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, it sounds like a squirrel mincer...
Cool video and great unboxing! Congrats on all of the RIDGID gear! I was considering starting my business back up with all Festool but, I think RIDGID will more than fit the bill... seeing this video was a part of my decision-making process! Thanks again!
Thanks so much, totally caught me off guard, but it was SO COOL...thanks for putting me in your corner, that means a lot to me. If you ever have any questions, please let me know in the comments.
Wood.Work.LIFE. I'm subscribed so, I'm looking forward to future reviews and follow-ups... interesting to hear your long-term impressions. Take care and happy woodworking!
If you learned anything from Ave's video it is that the stealth impact is well built but won't last long . Over time, depending on if your DYI or a pro , the impact force will lesson ?
Ya the cavitation potential, it will be interesting to see how that works in practice? Cavitation is a major issue in industrial hydraulic environments and motors, I wonder how that translates to real world jobsite and weekend warrior use.
I agree with Joel, here is why. I work for a major contractor and we spend will over $1mil plus at the big box store each year. So 6 months ago I was told to buy a bunch of tools to start a new division in the company and was instructed to buy the best tools available for our company. A coworker and I spent the next morning at the big box store loading a flat top cart with the top of the line RED tools (starts with m and ends with e) in the building. One of the employees came to us and said that the store owned tools are a better deal as “they have a LIFE TIME WARRANTY). He continued by saying if anything goes wrong with the tool bring it back and we will exchange it no questions asked. So in the best interest of my company we put the RED tools back and proceeded to load the cart with the orange tools to the tune of $2500. I thought we did good and told others in the company about the orange tools policy and told them it has a great deal. So over the past 6 months I purchased more and more orange tools. In fact every time we were given a new task we had to by a new tool and we bought orange. Now since then we have had two pneumatic and one battery nail guns quit. The first nail gun that quit we brought back and were told no problem and they exchanged it for a new one, COOL! Then anther gun quit and we took it back and were told sorry we changed our policy and now you have to take the broken tool to the rental department for repair. Once at the rental things went very sideways. We gave the guy the tool for repair and at that time was told to pay $18.95 just to have the tool inspected. I said the tool had a lifetime warranty and he informed me no it is a service agreement and I would have to pay to start the process. Then he tried to get me to sign, now get this, a PRE APPROVED $100 REPAIR BILL. Meaning we would have to pay for the first $100 to repair the tool. I didn’t sign it and told the guy to let me know when I could pick up the tool. That is when he informed me the process would take 2 to 6 weeks. Now the best tool in the big box store with a LIFETIME whatever just turned into a big POS and no you can GFY. Just another scammer.
After three years, my question is do you still love them and do you still have a relationship with Ridgid? I love my Ridgid tools and come to RUclips to watch videos on the every day.
Just got into Ridged so many tools out there wasn't sure witch way to go some people say they suck some love them GREAT VIDEO I'M NEW TO YOUR CHANNEL THANKS FOR THE INFO I will stock with THE RIDGED BRAND
I've been looking for a good review on their thickness planer. I like the idea of their service contract with HD. See if they'll send you one to do a review on.
I have most of those tools.. really want to try their trim router and 16g finish nailer.. how about a cordless planer? that would be a nice giveaway. ridgid hasn't let me down.
I bought the 6 tool kit with 2 free tools i got the 1/2 impact for working on cars & the jigsaw for car audio stuff ..... i really could use the router & i want a ratchet head for my multi tool jobmax, but my next purchase will be a orbital sander then the ratchet head for my multi tool the rest will have to wait but if i could win just 1 here thatd speed up the process on my car audio build im doing on RUclips starting the first!
Hope you're getting good use out of all those new toys . I have been trying to find out some product info on Ridgid but no one has been able to answer my question. Since you seem to have an insiders relationship with Ridgid maybe you can inquire if they have a cordless table saw in the works.
Nice channel! For suggestions, Ridgid's planer and/or jointer would be good to see in action. One of those will be my next addition (just picked up the R4512 table saw) and would like some feedback before shelling out some more money I don't really have!
I've been looking into the idea of converting to Ridgid's 18V lineup from Makita due to my frustration with cost and tool availability (hello trim router and circular saw with a left hand blade) So I just wanted to say thank you for posting this! I actually didn't even know they made the trim nailer. Very cool If you do decide to do a giveaway of some sort sign me up!
Great video for those of us to get an idea of Ridgids line of power tools. Looking into starting my own woodworking shop, any tools would helpful!! Thanks keep up the good work.
this is the cheapest form of advertisement they can get and they hit the right market. anyone looking at these they understand need tools
WOW, bro you’re one lucky man, the amount of quality work I could do with a set like that is making my brain hurt
Lol, you can do good work with any tool, some are just faster than others.

I like the unboxing. Good idea. Everyone loves the joy of opening their new tools. Thanks for sharing
no problem, seemed like a fun thing to share
Thanks for showing. I just got the 5 piece set. So far so good. Don't forget to register them within 90 days of purchase.
Good tip! I hope you like the set, you can make a lot of stuff with that.
Whoa need to calm down man, can feel the excitement radiating off you

I own the corded Trim Router and the pneumatic 18ga Brad Nailer from Ridgid. Love them both!
The ridgid line is great. I have some of their drills from a few years ago and multi tool, looking forward to trying out the brushless. You'll enjoy the new tools. Solid tools at a good price.
Ya me too, I have the Makita brushless now, I am interested to see how it compares to the Stealth Force.
I am what I would consider a slightly advanced Do it yourselfer. I have many tools from Ridgid in 18V and 12V lines, and also one of their tiles saws. Love the Ridgid tools unboxing. I would be interested on your experience with the trim router. Thanks very much!
I'm going to remodel my basement soon and looking for a tool set I think ridged set is the way to go!
For sure, that 4.5 tool set with the circ saw, drill driver, impact driver, and reciprocating saw would get you going.
Love ridged I don't have the money for the tools but I truly believe they are the best out
That little router looks pretty sweet. I wonder how it will be to use.
Sweet, pretty much everything you may need except a jigsaw and mini circular saw.
cool Router and Light. Looks like a very nice line of tools.
I’m on the fence on what brand to buy. I’m looking in on the multi tool and Ridgid looks interesting.
They have the most reasonable prices and now with life time warranty I been looking at the impact drill stealth great tool
Stealth is OK for slamming in big stuff but a bit like riding a wild horse for small screws.
I've been watching that cordless trim router and LED light panel for a little while. Both great additions to any shop
Bryce MacLean The trim router was next on my list regardless. I really hope that thing is all it has been hyped up to be. That little router with a 5ah battery I hope to become good friends with.
The light panel is sweet, used it many many times. Even with 2.0 battery it lasts quite a long time.
Love Ridgid tools
Your reviews and unboxings are great
That Job max looks like a great add on👍love to have them
The multi tool looks awesome.
AWESOME!!! I want to know how that battery powered nail gun works.
As a Ridgid lover it brought me to the channel will definitely watch some more and man I would love a couple more batteries!!
Thanks for swinging by!
I swear by my Ridgid drills and I can't wait to add to my tool box, I am very interested in the router and the Nailer. Keep up the good work
Could you do a demonstration on the router, circular saw, and nail gun those are the ones I would be most interested in thanks.
Hi Rick
I've just watched your video about all the 18V tools you've got and that is nice, you'll hear if there were any of the rings I wanted and there were some pieces. STEALTH FORCE driver, drill driver combo, router that I could use. I think it was a good video and looking forward to more from you. Friend from Denmark
These tools paired with the new octane batteries are great performers
"So this is one of those 5 tool kits where one of the tools is a flashlight" lmao that just struck such a cord.
As far as a give-away, ANY of the Gen5 tools would be a blessing, but apart from like a combo kit I'm pretty interested in getting one of the palm routers. :)
I would pretty excited to have all of that arrive at my doorstep
I have a pretty good Ridgid collection it's growing slowly and framing gun wld be awesome to have!!
Ridgid really hooked you up. Man and gave you plenty of batteries too...nice
I was thinking about getting done ridgid tools. They seem to be really nice and are cheaper than adding more to my Makita set.

Ridgid is the best! All I buy. Can't beat free service, batteries and chargers for life!
They mean sound different when impacting not no load sound
Makes sense now after using it a little bit, thanks. The impacting action is far quieter. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, it sounds like a squirrel mincer...
Wood.Work.LIFE. lol
Tool Craze yes it is the impacting sounds.
The sound sounded OK to me. Good video
Cool video and great unboxing! Congrats on all of the RIDGID gear! I was considering starting my business back up with all Festool but, I think RIDGID will more than fit the bill... seeing this video was a part of my decision-making process! Thanks again!

The lamp looks very cool. Not sure they sell this brand in New Zealand.
I would love the 18g cordless nailer I do a lot of trim work!
My one qualm with cordless nailers compared to air nailers is inconsistent depth of nailing.
True but it saves a lot of time.
If you learned anything from Ave's video it is that the stealth impact is well built but won't last long . Over time, depending on if your DYI or a pro , the impact force will lesson ?

nice work ridgid loving the brad nailer awesome product
Would love to get my hands on one of their hammer drills and that 3 panel light would be sweet as well. Have yourself a great day.

I didn’t sign it and told the guy to let me know when I could pick up the tool. That is when he informed me the process would take 2 to 6 weeks. Now the best tool in the big box store with a LIFETIME whatever just turned into a big POS and no you can GFY. Just another scammer.
I was unaware you could change a warranty policy like that. The TOS are in the package with the tool? Have you tried contacting team Orange about it?
After three years, my question is do you still love them and do you still have a relationship with Ridgid? I love my Ridgid tools and come to RUclips to watch videos on the every day.
The nailer looks cool
Just subscribed! This unboxing must have been a blast. Never seen that cordless sander before. Interested in hearing about the run time on that
Just got into Ridged so many tools out there wasn't sure witch way to go some people say they suck some love them GREAT VIDEO I'M NEW TO YOUR CHANNEL THANKS FOR THE INFO I will stock with THE RIDGED BRAND
Ridgid, best brand ever invented , I love it
Just wait until you see the 10k giveaway :)
Interested in seeing how the ridged cordless drywall screwdriver with their attachment works
My buddy DIYTylerG just did a remodel and used that bad boy, maybe go check his video out?
I've been looking for a good review on their thickness planer. I like the idea of their service contract with HD. See if they'll send you one to do a review on.
Trim router, Air Compressor, Panel lights, Belt sander, and Palm sander...thanks!
Ridgid make some real nice tools they have come a long way...
idk wtf happened to some reviewers' tools on Amazon, tons of them gave Rigid's tools very lil stars
I have most of those tools.. really want to try their trim router and 16g finish nailer.. how about a cordless planer? that would be a nice giveaway. ridgid hasn't let me down.
I just bought the router and it works great with a 4.0 battery, I use this router for pencil edges or 1/8" easing bit. Plenty of power.
New sub... I could really put the trim router to good use. Looking hard at Ridgid to replace my old dewalt stuff.
Have not used any of Ridgid tools--but 5 tools in one is interesting!
I have the Ryobi version of the battery router and my brother will not give it back he loves it for rounding over deck boards after cutting them.
At last a tool review without wanking guitar at the beginning. Well done man!!!
+clanceylufkin ha!
The best tool you have is that Atlas 46 vest you have in the back hanging!
she's a beut ain't she :)
I just found your channel and I love it your now one of my favourite RUclipsrs
Wow, awesome. That is a huge honor I look forward to seeing you around in the comments.
they're made to be quieter on impact, not with out a load
I liked all of the tools but i would like to see the cordless miter saw
Nice channel!
For suggestions, Ridgid's planer and/or jointer would be good to see in action. One of those will be my next addition (just picked up the R4512 table saw) and would like some feedback before shelling out some more money I don't really have!
I've been wanting to get that 5 piece Ridgid set for a long time my tools are way out of date
i love the rigid line up works great
I've been looking into the idea of converting to Ridgid's 18V lineup from Makita due to my frustration with cost and tool availability (hello trim router and circular saw with a left hand blade) So I just wanted to say thank you for posting this! I actually didn't even know they made the trim nailer. Very cool If you do decide to do a giveaway of some sort sign me up!
18 gauge cordless nailer and X5 package I have the complete X4 package plus more
Great video for those of us to get an idea of Ridgids line of power tools. Looking into starting my own woodworking shop, any tools would helpful!! Thanks keep up the good work.
+firefighterfst thanks!
That tri-fold cordless light would be a super cool giveaway!
Love the hammer drill! Going to go look at one this week.
Hey Coach!
Like that nailer bro
Wow! It's cool that RiDGID hooked you up with all that gear. Lucky ducky =)
You really are a lucky guy they send you all the tools I wish if I can buy all these things but I don't have the money to buy them 😔
I think you should do a combo that Ridgid doesn't do,like the lights and saw or the router and maybe 5 amp batt.
I love my ridgid tools i want the trim router an the panel lights don't forget to register them for a lifetime warranty
Will do!
Ridgid way better then the yellow stuff ! My yellow stuff is failing me quickly and am going back to ridgid !
looking forward to more vids featuring your new tools
How does your giveaway work? I have a ton of Ridgid tools. Aside from being heavy, that stealth force is the best impact I've ever used
i would definitely be interested in some sort of drill/impact combo giveaway. Love your channel!
