@@Al3xJ0n3s Agencies are starting to go to scrambled communications to prevent their communications being heard. There have been some legal challenges to them doing that but thus far I don't think any of the challenges have been successful. So scanners are likely to become less and less useful.

I think the way Press NH combines the 911 calls, overlayed in real time with the video, and the added police scanner communication, is REALLY UNDERRATED!! It’s something EVERY auditor should be doing all the time. Initially this would cause a delay in getting a video up as they’re waiting for the 911 audio (and/or dashcam) to be released. Eventually though you’d get in sync and videos could be stacked up to go once per week, albeit a week or two behind real time, but no one would notice OR CARE about that. It adds so much more context and dimension to the audit.

As much as I admire Americans who’ve served in the military, the reality is that military officers - especially high ranking officers - are accustomed to giving orders and having them followed without question. They don’t always adjust well to civilian life where they are no longer “special” and have no authority to give commands to people. Thus mindset is also why veterans often make poor cops, because they will follow any order they are given without question - including orders that are unlawful and unconstitutional.

My best friend is a retired USMC Colonel (O-6). We served together for a few years and have been close ever since. I've never seen him act as though he was better than anyone. Very grounded type person.
Maybe being a Guardsman instead of active helped me to never have that type of mentality. I internally questioned every order given to me and was not afraid to voice my opinions when I thought something was wrong or dangerous. Maybe it helped having very good officers who were grounded and would ask their ncos for advice. Still, I wouldn’t touch law enforcement careers with a 10 ft pole. I’m much happier servicing in other capacities.
I'm a 15yr vet and I can assure you, we are taught not to follow unlawful orders and, there are service members who harbor secret loyalties that betray their oath to the Constitution, within the ranks.

If a dispatcher didn't send a unit and whatever was happening turned out to be something more than someone doing nothing illegal (exercising a right), the city may have to deal with that on the back end via a lawsuit...just my two cents

This is the first dispatcher I've heard that handles these kinds of calls responding correctly and telling the caller they're allowed to do that. She should have also told them to leave them alone and ignore them unless they come onto the property. They'll be gone soon if you ignore them. Or just wave.

It could suggest that many activists are now protesting and standing up for our freedoms in this situation, leading to more awareness among police officers. They might now all come to the conclusion that when they mention "we've dealt with this before," it gives the impression that they are treating it as a mental health issue rather than a matter of freedom.

The dispatcher had an incredible moment when she said "They're allowed to film", but half-failed when she mentioned "they were under one of their amendment rights". She didn't even know which one. I realize she's not an officer, but as a dispatcher and a public servant, she should have a clue about those "amendment rights". I'd give her a solid B+ for her response.
The cop was a total D-bag. He claimed to be a guardian of civil liberties and it appears so, but he still maintains his loyalty to the blue-line flag, which I agree is a total violation of the American flag! He became a cop after 36 years in the Army and now is a cop. Nothing like double-dipping on the benefits, huh?

This video is a reminder that Press NH Now is not a knee-jerk auditor, but that he takes an active role in reviewing all transgressions against citizens liberties, and remembering tyrants that engage in transgressing the rights of the people. I was very impressed with his ability to fit the pieces of the jigsaw together so quickly. Nice.

Dispatch- yeah they’re completely allowed to film as long as they don’t go on your property but I’ll send someone out to harass them and question them on why they are following the law and maybe we can trump up some charges and have them arrested for you since your feelings are hurt
As someone who worked as a dispatcher for about six months the dispatcher has no choice but to send an officer out to a complaint even if the dispatcher thinks there is no law being broke or there is no need for an officer. A dispatcher does not have the authority to determine whether or not law enforcement (or an ambulance or the fire department) is needed. And any dispatcher with any sense does not want that authority and had better not ever not push a call out to the appropriate first responder. If something goes wrong you don't want the call to have ended with you. Now granted it was many years ago that I briefly worked as a dispatcher but I don't believe technology has advanced to the point that a dispatcher can 100% determine what is happening at the scene of a call. They can make some deductions based upon what the caller tells them and their own experience but they cannot decide what the response should be.

@@DylansProbablyFishN I would bet if you directly heard someone say that to a caller that person was a sworn LEO and not a dispatcher. Either the dispatcher put the call through to an officer, the complainant called the police directly or an officer is manning the dispatch. No dispatcher who does not have LE authority can make the determination whether or not a call is valid be it a call for police, rescue or fire. They do not want the liability they would put on themselves and the agency if they make a wrong determination. I am sure you have seen auditing videos where the police were called on the auditor and auditor says no police ever showed up. If that happened the dispatcher was not the one to decide the police would not respond.
