I was intrigued both times by the adhoc Polizei stencil. The video you linked to was also interesting at about 3 and 5 minutes with what looked like paratroopers with a stencil makeover and a beret change? My East German collection is only sized larger than yours. Thanks for the variety and quality of the gear you show.
And it was, speaking from own experience in the Bereitschaftspolizei in Dresden. I left the Officer Academy in Dresden in August 1990, before the Jackets were marked with POLIZEI. But I remember wearing the riot helmet was extremely painful, due to the heavy weight of the visor on the forehead.
