  • Khayerbari is located 10 km away from Madarihat. Khayerbari is mainly known as the "Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard" rescue center. During the ban from various circuses and shows several wild animals were captured by the forest officials including 11 tigers seized from the Olympic circus. The tigers that are being shifted to Khyarebari are part of this group which was kept at Holong temporarily. This place is highly attractive to tourists because they can get a close spot to watch.
The Bhutan-India border is the international border separating Bhutan and India. The border is 699 km (434 m) long, and adjoins the Indian states of Assam (267 km; 166 m), Arunachal Pradesh (217 km; 135 m), West Bengal (183 km; 114 m), and Sikkim (32 km; 20 m).
