Tactical Shooting Gloves 2023 | Oakley Factory Pilot 2.0 Gloves.

In this video I just talk about some cool tactical gloves I got. They give ballistic military gloves vibes. They are Oakley Factory Pilot 2.0 Gloves size L. Good for range days or shooting days. They have touch screen finger tips on the thumbs and middle fingers. I got these from Amazon, for some reason couldn’t get them from oakleys website without law enforcement or military connections.

I’ve been looking for some shooting gloves and decided to get some mechanix. However, they were a bit hard to get used to and definitely slowed my trigger finger down. I guess they were just too thick and it was an uncomfortable feel overall with my finger in the trigger guard. I wanted to settle with some Mossy Oak fingerless gloves since I would prefer better dexterity with my trigger finger, but I was wondering if these were more of a slimmer fit and less “grippy” since the Oakleys look nice also.

Oakleys are definitely grippy. I would say you just HAVE to get used to them. Gloves are meant to protect your hand and fingers so I would say just adapt to them. That’s also the reason I wouldn’t get fingerless gloves. Yes it would feel nice but defeats the purpose

coming back to this vid after using my own factory pilots for a little over a month and a half and I only have one complaint, I have absolute baby hands and wear a size small. The knuckle guard seems to be a single size piece, so it can get slightly in the way when trying to do certain things, but other than that, fantastic glove all around

Interesting didn’t know but I can see how the knuckle guard would stay the same throughout all the sizes. Do you have the MechanicX ? I like them both and can’t go wrong with either

@ArcFireX I only had one pair of Mechanix that I never really used cause I got the sizing wrong and it was too large, but I might get a small size just to have something around my hands
