  • The following is a second (2nd) attempt by Mireille 19yrs, Female, 127 lb, 5'1"student in the Techniques des services policiers / Police Foundations Program after following a 20 minutes workshop with Prof. Paul St-Onge, Coordinator, Techniques des services policiers / Police Foundations Program. The following video demonstrates that the proper "techniques, training and positioning" you can save valuable seconds from your time and pass the A-PREP or any physical test such as the POPAT (Police Officer Physical Abilities Test, PARE ((Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation) or O-PREP (Ontario-Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police). A special thank you to Mireille for willing to try the A-PREP and to Jen,in Alberta, requesteing assistance and showing a strong commitment to passing the A-PREP and seeking me out. :o) visit: www.policefit.ca

I am doing all the testing in April. If I don't make it through because I am under qualified, then I am going to join the army for a couple years.

As indicated the wall is 4 ft in Ontario rather then 5ft in Alberta. The push and pull is different in the following way. In Ontario you must complete 6 arcs of pushing or pulling (70 lbs). You also can get a 1 arc penalty if you drop weight or cross your feet while pulling. The dummy drag is held at the wrists, in Ontario, rather then by the handle at the feet. Ontario time is 2:42 for a pass with a shuttle run of 6.5

This is really nothing when you compare it to the RCMP TAPE test or the CNDF school test in Québec!

Bro u know what is difference between Push and pull of alberta and Ontario?. Which one is harder tho as I am worried about timing in A-prep as it is only 2.10 seconds where as it is 2.42 seconds in Ontario
