I've been with Hobonichi since 2016...after numerous trials and errors I have settled with the full Cousin for art & journaling, the English Techo for personal agenda, and the Weeks for my EDC. I have been very happy with this system. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Great content, but the upside down video detracts from content. I’ll check out another of your videos on the hobonichi because I’m thinking of moving from my ECLP to it. I’d also like to get rid of my sticky notes and “crazy-ness” as you described.
Really good and detailed overview!! Just what I needed to decide on the Hobonichi cousin 😍 do the EC stickers kinda fit in the boxes/layout for the cousin at all?
Thanl you for the budget tracking ideas! I hadn’t thought of the monthly upcoming bills that way before. Putting the bills upfront would help me tremendously... The A5 is tempting but I like to pull it out in front of people for note taking purposes. I also use an A6 because it’s portable and my schedule stays more realistic. Otherwise I give myself too many things to do. Your explanations are very thorough. The visual examples are helpful as well! Thank you for putting this up. I really really appreciate it. My mind is chaotic and seeing someone else’s process prevents me from paralyzing myself with over analysis.
Great plan, Erin! I'm glad you're using a Hobonichi this year because I'm not an ECondren user and don't have any of her products, but I've been following along anyway because I really enjoy your videos. 💜
I love Hobonichi. The cousin and avec was still too big. I used the hobonichi weeks for a whole year and I loved it but I'm 56 now and my eyes play tricks on me so I watched to a Wonderland 222 B6. This is perfect for me. It's not to small or to big. It's just right. Check it out.
Hobonichi cousin and weeks for me. Thinking about recycling my covers from the past few years. I was given a happy planner but I really don’t use it at all. I’m a Christian and not very healthy so lots of stuff I need to affirm in my days. You know you were upside down. Me too!
Nice vid. Had to lay my phone flat and turn it so I could follow better. It was initially hard to see your Hobo upside down. 😁 Tip: using a permanent marker to mark the numbers on the wave tabs has helped me read them easier. 👍😉
If you use the rvf app from the App Store, you can film your videos as usual but use the app to rotate the POV. That’s how I edit my videos. Great video. 🌺🌺
I just found you flipping channels. Loved loved Loved your video and I can totally see me following a similar planning system. I’m not a big planner but I’ve been trying to find a system that works with my lack of organization lol - I will order the Hobobichi - did you say Cousin? I’ll have to listen again because I also love your cover. Much success and blessings in the new year. Consuelo
Thank you! This video made me realize that moving to digital planning was the best thing I did. It was a good video but I think I’ll stick to digital. 😊 Have fun!
I’m glad that you have found a system that works for you. I tried digital and I just need my pen and paper. One of my daughters uses one. Whats your favorite digital planner?
Erin's Gotta Plan I mainly use Goodnotes because I can view on my tablet and on my cell. Initially I purchased templates from Etsy but lately I have been experimenting on creating my own. What I like about it is that I just need my cell to view all my notebooks. I have one for my daily/weekly/monthly errands, one for finances and one for tracking my health 😊 All accessible through my cell :) I am not going to lie, it took me a while to get away from pen and paper but once I did, I find it hard to go back :) I think you are right :) it is all a matter to have fun with it rather than creating stress :) Happy planning!
Brandi Trautman I’m just ready to start using it. I’m thinking I will download from digital city the dec pages to get used to using ir. You can find digital city on the hobo main site.
Love love!!! I’m stuck on which planner I want to use for 2019! I have watched this more than 3 times! lol anyways so happy that shared and posted a video! Xoxo
HomeschoolingPlannerMomma you know what’s funny I was thinking the time block page would be great for homeschooling. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the video.
www.etsy.com/listing/633895497/choose-your-month-monthly-enchanted?ga_search_query=october&ref=shop_items_search_3&bes=1 Love this Shop and you can pick what month you want it for.
Been a hardcore EC fan for the last 5 years. Last year, my planner COMPLETELY FELL APART ....by MARCH. They replaced but I wasn't happy and was super inconvenienced having to rewrite everything over again. This year, I contacted them because I received Nov and Dec 2018 instead of 2019. They said it was my mistake and because I wrote it in they would not replace. Ridiculous. $50 planner. I've been a loyal patron for years and it was clearly a mistake but they basically just shrugged their shoulders. I'm OUT. NO MORE ERIN CONDREN FOR ME!
Tip in is simply taping or securing an item in your planner - I use Washi remember to not go over the corneres or you can't flip it up. Think post it notes or a page that folds out.
I’m so sorry I had ediing issues with this one. Thank you for watching and I hope that you will give some of the other videos I have posted on Hobonichi a chance.
Thank you so much, I miss my planner family! I may get back into it, things are getting calm again in my new stage of life, may give me an opportunity.

Really good information.
Good to see someone explain Hobonichi.
Hi Erin. I love your videos. It’s so refreshing to find someone who uses the heck out of their planners. 💜

In the back you showed pages you copied and tipped in. Could you explain what those were for? Thanks for the video!
I have a credit score tracker and an open etsy order tracker that I made in excel and printed on Tahoe river paper

I’m definitely going have to look at the hobonichi for 2020:)
I love all your ideas you have. I have been slowly moving into mine this week. I

Sounds like a great plan (for planning) in 2019! May I ask, where did you order the cover from?

I believe it’s called Lucy
The entire video is up side down 😲

ooh you make me want to go back to Hobonichi. I did try it this year but the grid lines were difficult for me to see.
Great ideas! I'm switching from EC to a Hobonichi Cousin also, hope it gets here on time!

where did you get your pocket cover ? nice video !
Love it! Thanks for sharing 🥰
I would totally subscribe if the video wasn’t upside down. 🙁 I kept waiting for you to turn the planner to face the camera....but no.
MsAmyrock I’m sorry, big editing miss on my part! Hope you’ll stop back by for videos that aren’t flipped this way. Thank you for watching 💕
MsAmyrock ruclips.net/video/U_PE1VJXCII/видео.html try this view.
MsAmyrock I just turned my smartphone upside down
Me too I love the look of hobinichi. I will get one as soon as I can get my hands on one. I did not know Erin condrin has daily planner
that would be me ! stepping backwards from EC & into bujo & hononichi . i love my choices
Where did you get that October kit?? Awesome!

That cover is a Liberty of London print-I have the same one 😻
Nice video. But it’s upside down
Question, what is the pink pen that’s hooked on top of the floral cover?
Jeanne Goda that’s a zig pen. You can order at JetPens.com
What notebook insert did you use and where did you purchase this?
Its the Hobonichi Cousin - I got this one of Amazon - amzn.to/2G5Lx3c Hope this helps
@@ErinsGottaPlan Not the Hobonichi but the notebook you are using for your notes.
Midori A5 Note Book amzn.to/2MylH8r and Clear Cover amzn.to/2ThlLvG - I added decrotive paper between the notebook and cover.
Debra Cox or do you mean the small hobonichi notebook in the back?
@@ErinsGottaPlan No the Hobonichi A5 memo pad you are using for your notes. I think I found one on Etsy. Thanks.
Liked your video very much! Can you give a link where did you order your hobonichi, please ?

A little annoying llooking at the books upside down
Where did you get the river paper?
Dawn Smith Jet pens.
Would have been nice if the planner/video was rotated. Just a suggestion ;)
Siljan Ramphal I’m learning LOL..... I’m glad you enjoyed - I think I have the flipping figured out so the ones after this are flipped right. =)
Are you aware that your video is upside down?? It gives me a headache to try to watch it.
Great stuff. I had to watch your video upside down. 🤣
It's difficult to see because it's upside down.

Sabrina Krug I hate to hear that. I’ve never had quality issues, but am hearing more stories.
How do you do a "tip in"? New at this!!
Tip in is simply taping or securing an item in your planner - I use Washi remember to not go over the corneres or you can't flip it up. Think post it notes or a page that folds out.
@@ErinsGottaPlan Thank you - loving your planning style.
Where did you get your bill pay tracker?
Amy Solomon it’s one I made and printed myself using excel
Just got a hobonichi for this year, have never used one before! Excited to see how it works for me!
This would be great if I didn’t have to watch it upside down.
