Anakin, have you ever heard the legend of King Tiger the Heavy? I thought not, it is not a Wheeraboo legend.
King Tiger was so well-armoured he could protect himself from death. The only thing he feared was loss of mobility.
Ironically, his own transmission couldn‘t stand carrying all this armor and eventually betrayed and murdered King Tiger.

It was the most monstrous, horrific tank of the 1940's but they only made a small number of them. It's frontal armour could not be penatrated in the 40's (just like the Tiger 1).

A restored Sherman and Royal Tiger are parked next to each other at a festival.
Sherman: You know, all these young kids are going around saying that you could kick my ass.
Tiger: Idiots, all of them. The war ended eighty years ago. Why would we go back to fighting?
Sherman: But do you sometimes wonder? Who would win if we fought again?
Tiger: My friend, we are survivors. Let the children make their stories about who would win. We have no need to fight, because know the truth: we both won by surviving that terrible war. Our prize is that we may spend our days in peace, teaching the younger generations about our bloody histories in hope that it will never be repeated.
Sherman: You're right...we should leave the fighting for the new machines.

"Königstiger" is an informal nickname. The official designation of the tank was Pzkfw VI ausf B "Tiger II". It was undoubtedly a beast, but unfortunately for the Wehrmacht it was also too much sophisticated, too heavy for most of contemporary bridges, and far too costly to produce. Its fuel consumption was huge, while the Third Reich had no more petrol reserves ! Less than 500 Tiger II were built, compared to 55000 Sherman or 75000 T-34... Moreover, allied heavy tanks equal or superior to the Tiger II, like the soviet JS-3, US M26 Pershing or british Centurion were ready to enter service in 1945-46.
