I'd say if you didn't enjoy Painted Scars, you probably won't enjoy the others. I feel like book 2 is a little better but if you Disliked the writing I wouldn't bother.
I've read three or four books by Neva and I stopped reading the series. Her style just isn't for me. I've only read Scarlet Scott once and I did not get the hype. At some point I'll probably give her another chance. I'm finding my taste in books does not match up with the masses. 🧡🧡🧡
