Race Sim Studio has released another mod for Assetto Corsa, this time bringing the wild, 1,200 horsepower days of Formula One from the 1980's to our homes. This RSS 1986 V6 mod seems to take a lot of inspiration from the Williams FW11.

Mike I feel bad saying this, and I've said it before, but really don't enjoy the experience of watching the low-FOV capture from the central screen of your triple setup, it's really not a comfortable or enjoyable watching experience on YT. Love your content as always man!

RSS, make a CART chassis car please! I know VRC has one but RSS' open wheel stuff is the best.
They were insane, but I am reminded of the Audi diesel Le Mans contender which broke traction in every gear. I hope RSS make a replica of that soon.
The R8 was fucking crazy all that torque was biblical.
Hey Mike, maybe a suggestion to wear a Gopro to give us a better view of what you're seeing in your setup, DaveCam does this as well and it's very nice.

Thanks for the Video Mike. On an unrelated note Mike... and now that you mentioned how much you like RSS new Mercer v8. I went ahead and bought it and as much as I ove it; with this car I just don't know how to fix my steering wheel FFB just feeling completely light/lose when turning mostly in haripins/tight corners. I am usuing the MOZA R5 base and it feels like this only with this car (and maybe the Bently from Bonny). Do you have any advise or tip on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance for the help!
Thanks for watching! That’s an interesting problem. I’ve never heard of that. Could it be understeer? I would try turning up the “Enhanced Understeer Effect” in Assetto Corsa and see if that helps
I have to say this video highlights why I've lost a lot of interest in Assetto Corsa over the past few years. The Lotus 98T as default AC content is great, so I'm not really keen on buying payware of a slightly different F1 car from that same year, especially as I've bought mountains of Payware for AC and it's actually tough to find a league, online matchmaking provider, or public server using any of this stuff. The Estoril track is also clearly converted from the isi era of sims and doesn't translate well to AC's GFX engine. The main "tower" at 15:11 on the right is seriously dated, and at 2:17 the white painted line isn't smooth, but polygonal. There are no detailed road surface textures. At least with this level of detail in original rFactor, it fit the game's art style, but here it feels like all of this extra fluff went towards nothing.

@Dutch-McLarenJk82- That is a very unfair assumption to make because it's not that I get bored. It's just that I don't have the time to watch a 30 min video on my 15 min break but you wouldn't understand would you with your perfect life cause you have all the time in the world

Also I do not have a perfect life with all the time in the world just so you know. Also you can’t just expect from Mike to make shorter content just because you have a 15 minute break.
