Mind investing in a mic for future tutorials? Rather annoying having to constantly minimize maya to look at video, then pull maya up again to continue. Makes it nearly impossible to follow along.
agreed im bout to have to find a different video. these clicks are so fast I cant tell the little menus I have to slow down the vid speed. I guess too advanced for bgnners
I have watched tons of tutorials, worked in the local industry for 7 years, and then I learned this! I also experimented a lot. Yes I will make a step by step tutorial if there is a lot of demand. But don't worry I will definitely make similar content for you guys! Thanks a lot!
@@vfxpie I also wanted to know why your toplogy looked like the way it did, I'm learning 3d and I've only been told to model in quads as much as I can unless I need to optomize the mesh for UE4. Can you have the sorta messy topology if you are just rendering a scene out in maya?
Typology doesn’t really matter in rendering. But when you want to animate any charecter is a must. But like a single object which will never move, in the scene can be messy. It is the best option to model in good topology. When i do any professional project or may be selling a piece a model i always maintain good topology. But when you need to just showcase or quick demonstrate something, its ok to be messy with topology. Again if you are the bigginer stay with the good topology, learn it well, then when it is need you can do it and when you want to make something really quick you can do whatever you want! Hope this makes scence!
I can do that! But here i am showing the process of making such an environment! That kind of transition is not needed for my video! thanks for asking! In future i will make that kind of video!
May I ask if having the building small enough is important so that the aiVolumentrics don't blacken everything out?
Thank you so much sir you are the best
Hello can can i find the image that you have used for the skydome.

Thanks! Buildings textures are from texture dot com. And later created the emission or lumen pass.
How and where dd you learn how do to this? Do you plan on making a step by step tutorial on this?

Thinking about that! Thanks!
is there any way you can post a video of the city at 15:55 as a whole video looped or something
I can do that! But here i am showing the process of making such an environment! That kind of transition is not needed for my video! thanks for asking! In future i will make that kind of video!
