A lovely looking town. I have never been to Monte Gordo. Great video :-)

Thank you Mr. Andrew for your comment. It is a nice place but with no rocks... It is recommended for families with kids and for those who like to walk along the beaches. And as it is closer to the Mediterranean Sea, waters are usually a little warmer than in centre of the Algarve.

@@DrivingAlgarve Thank you. That's good to know for when I resume travelling again. A beautiful location for sure.

The very first place ever stayed in Algarve late 80's much by chance as it was meant to be Lagos, but ended up at th wonderful Vasco Da Gama Hotel.Long story that worked out well. You have rekindled many nice memories. Many thanks 💗💚💛😎

Dear Mr. Paddymac thank you for your comment. Monte Gordo is a nice place to stay and quiet. But the rock formations of Lagos coast are fantastic for photos and videos. Two different places, both ideal for a relaxing holiday...

@@DrivingAlgarve yes, after the 1st stay @Monte Gordo got to lovely Lagos many times, in fact the hottest day in my life spent there!!🌞🔥. In the later 90's acquired a week right on Oura Beach. Beautiful. The West Algarve is more dramatic coastline but wee Monta Gordo ended up a surprise intro to the lovely Algarve and it was a beautiful peaceful two weeks. So glad I got to experience that and hope to get back one day. Again thanks/ lovely Video ❤💚💛

If you had a choice between Monte Gordo or Vila Real do Santo Antonio as a place to stay for the winter which would you recommend?

Dear Mr Martin Rea I would recommend for the winter Monte Gordo. You have there a beach to walk around, some Bars and hotels to have a drink, or swimm for example... and to go to Vila Real Sto António (nearby) for a lunch out. See here: ruclips.net/video/anmxpxofRBU/видео.html
