This was awesome!
they use the old cast iron Opel CIH short block, now in the early 1980's they (GM) made a dual over head cam version of that motor for rally racing but those heads are hard to find, so the they take a Opel 6 cyl DOHC head cut off the last two cyl's and fit that on to the the Cast iron block.

@@hdbhehddbz No Webers. I think at this performance level Webers are not efficient enough. The sound will be generated by ITBs or independent throttle bodies in combo with electronic injection.

Could you share the specs (power, weight etc.) of this car?
Apparently they're being pretty secretive about the specs. Couldn't find anything on their site. Found this trascript of a caption from another video of the green Kadett - Christoph Zwahlen, Opel Kadett C 2.5 16V Weight 790 kg, 300hp
Here is what i know, they take the old CIH engine (opel) and GSI engine aswell and then they use cih engine as the engine head, they remove the extra cylinders, mostly they use that head because it has wider canals of the valves, they put the 4 cyl GSi 16v engine and they use it as the engine head, they come with great results (of course they strengthen it up but i dont have that much info). The company that tunes these kind of engines can be found in google under "Risse Motorsport", German tuning company that is located like 70-80km from me.
