I have 535d with 501 HP and 992 NM. 100-200 time is 8,4 sec measured by Dragy. Mods: Stage 3 turbos, bigger intercooler, performance exhaust system, R90 pump, 2500bar fuel regulator, 2700 bar fuel sensor, downpipe, EGR system and swirl flaps removed. Injectors are stock. Gearbox has stage 3 XHP software

I highly doubt those numbers!
A stock injector cannot push that much fuel that is needed for 500hp.
Otherwise the injection duty circle gets so high that you serious other problems.
btw: what exactly is a "stage 3 turbo", besides a MKT BS from the tuning industry?
There is no need for pistons and connecting roods ? What about the timing chain ?

That’s quite nice for a turbo that big, congratulations once again. I’m building an an e36 with m57d2 engine, hybrid gtb2568, but afraid to go for a bigger turbo cause don’t want to loose low end.
@@HugoSantos-ju2xg it all depends on a turbo behaviour, this turbo has different/bigger vgt ,2871 and other smaller hybrids have stock size vgt and struggle on top end, but to be honest im well impressed with this turbo, worth every penny as long as it lasts at least few years
So next sensible upgrade would be watermelon injection and maybe RVS treatment for the pump/injectors😎
Nah I think 8hp is the best but not just yet
@@NENTECHM57 I did gain 20hp with that same turbo on a m57 iron block E39 wagon. Keeps engine also clean and not that hard to install. Nice project and hopefully that turbo doesn't blow up.

@@NENTECHM57 in Poland one of RUclips mechanics put LPG in old, rusty E39 530d (184hp), remapped it produced 240hp. 20-30% gains are typical due to better diesel burn but You have to watch out for higher EGT

@@sauber8623 yea, that is a thing, i am pushing egt’s already (not dangerous level yet) but definitely is not an upgrade that would benefit longevity on my engine. It would be safer to use water/meth injection or nos

@@NENTECHM57 Watch out for peaks! At 4 bar absolute pressure things can go wrong very quickly! Other people with this turbo @ 3 bars experienced failures in the first 3 to 6 months. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy it much longer than that as there are many variables with such projects. Waiting for more videos :)
@@emal5651 thank you, I think i had minimum of 10 people contact me and say their horror story with this turbo. I will just have to wait and see. You know of killer 330? His running same turbo and he is anything but nice to it, I don’t do anything even remotely like that, so will see how long it lasts 🤞
