@@coltglass1270 mine literally always works. Make sure your options are set right and you are using the exact same password. My gf and I have played through pretty much the whole game together online.
Multiplayer should just be an option on the menu, and they should be able to run around with you and get the same loot you do. Maybe minus duplicate items or something
Why can’t they just make two separate options. One for co-op play which allows you to join a world with up to 4 players total and just roam around fighting bosses and one for single player. It literally shouldn’t even be this complicated it also would increase sales by a lot and make the game a lot more immersive.

All I wanted was to potentially coop this game with a group, maybe heal some people here and there but nah it's pretty hard finding someone, not to mention it's just mainly you helping someone down a boss I wish it was more concise
I started tumbling towards the enemy when they swing at me and I still dodge while closing the space for my 2-4 move combo before backing away again. Became much easier to kill bosses.
I wish the co op was more like mhw. Where you can send out a flare and people from all over can join your game and help you out in a boss fight. It would be more of an incentive to actually play co op and make progressing through the game for people that find the bosses too challenging to get help with them.
Think I was at 23 hours before I beat Margit, first time playing a Souls game so didn't know how to approach it, I explored a lot & levelled up a few times so I was ready for that fight. I still died alot trying though & 29 hours in I've already tried & failed miserably against Godrick 😂
If you kill an area boss like outside the guy on a horse at the first step site of grace, you can't summon in your world anymore and it sucks because now i can't do the boss that spawns at night with them. Also one only play with me so if i can't summon him after an area boss he will miss a lot. Big issues with continuity in coop. It's not fluid

mayb u have the blue light filter on when u browse or use your pc (assuming), it could explain the more yellow tint since games in full screen disable it. orrrrrrrrrr mayb he does.

You dont that's what stinks. No lateral completion. I wish there was, but say you beat a boss on your friends world you then have to do the same on yours. Also have to have the summoning pools activated or you can't go to the area

I'm from SEA server and my friend is in Canada. We used to coop but now we can't. Is that a server issue or Elden Ring just made the game region locked? I finished the game and I want to help him with the some of the boss fights.
It is a bug. The game shouldn’t be region locked as I’m able to play with my friends from america while I’m in Scotland. For anyone who thinks that’s too close for a region lock, the games that do have a region lock, don’t allow me to play with them
What ever happened to 2 player coop at home with a friend or family we have these big televisions so split screen is even better but no games to play on it 🙄😤

When you summon another player, that player joins your world. There is restrictions on how far they can explore within your world and any bosses you defeat together won't carry over when they go back to their world. Also they can't loot items. But there is coop specific rewards they can earn for helping you
@@Ehsan4536 if host dies, everyone die. Kind of. Teammates get sent back to their own world if they die. So if host dies he gotta go and summon teammates again to go into a boss fight
I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like you cannot summon your friends if you already defeated the boss on that area, due to the only reason to summon a friend is to "defeat the boss of that area"
Wow that's really stupid, Elden Ring got beat by Star Wars The Old Republic Online game just by being able to add friends to do main and side quests with.
i think their is only one From Software game thats was truly hard was Seriko because you had to learn the boss patterns i died to owl 32 times most i ever died from a boss ever
From Software loves that ridiculous idea of "coop" multiplayer. You are the host on your own game, and others appears like ghosts(which is aesthetically horrible) to help you for a while. Totally stupid. Or you make a coop entire campaign with a party of friends or you just make it only singleplayer, you cannot make a hybrid, like "this is my personal game, enter with a form of a non textured ghost and help me kill this thing, then good bye"... is absurd.
Tbh I mad I got to start over bc I over leveled my character now I can’t farm bosses for rune arcs anymore and help players tbh coop needs a huge fix shouldn’t be lvl caps on it just debuff me to host said lvl so I can die easier I what’s the cap prb 50 lvls below yours is the max and ain’t to many ppl leveling pass 125 sadly kills my experience just a lil bit

The reason is when you assist with someone who is a lower level it scales your level down to be closer to theirs so you’re not just destroying everything in the dungeon.
What a shockingly bad multiplayer. I do, in a way, like how you join each other. Its not as much hassle as people make out, and it makes things a little bit more interesting. The problem is how shallow co-op feels. No respawning in the same world, cant ride horses, can't rest to regen flasks. Makes the summoning process barely worth the effort unless you're stuck on a boss. Hopefully they allow a proper co-op experience in the future, where you can actually play the entire game with a couple friends, without having to re-join them at every step.
There's actually an item you can buy and equip as hear that gets rid of the tint, I'll comment back later to let you know what it is. I forgot what it was
