Thats crazy, i work like 2 minutes away and was on my way to lunch when seeing all these cop cars swarming in. Mustve just happened not too long cause i literally passed by the school like 5 minutes before that mayhem started

Of course it makes no sense to transport the students in buses away from the school and make parents wait and show IDs. It is part of the creation of an Institutional Police State regardless of its intent. The U.S. is becoming a Failed State.

I get more angry every day that all schools and their parking lots are not gated, locked entries, only one opening monitored at the start of school and then promptly locked through the entire school day, double locked entrance that required identification and a guardian notification about students late arrival and early dismissal. My high school did this on our new campus in my 11th grade year and we were thrilled. No more suspicious people on campus prompting lockdowns weekly , no kids from other schools coming on campus for fights, no more vandalism every night. We never felt like we were “in prison” and no one was ever made late or inconvenienced by an ID & parking permit check nor by a single, wide gated entry walking into campus. It’s more cost effective than hiring more campus security, which districts don’t do either because on campus officers & security numbers are determined by risk assessments; risk assessments are always favorable due to underreported and unreported incidents in EVERY district in EVERY state. I was a teacher in two states for over 10 years. If you’ve never stepped foot on your child’s campus for an entire day, I encourage you to do so bc you’re being lied to.
God help us you would thank school would be a safe places not anymore your child go to school now and they might not come home. We hear the same story over and over another shooting when will this evil stop so sorry for the young man lost his life over nothing his parents got to put there son in the ground befor his time our black kids of destroying each other for nothing soooo sad😢

America's schools stopped being safe years ago. Recurring mass school shootings across America as well as isolated incidents such as this. What is the resolve?
Took my kids out of public schools 7 years ago and have been homeschooling. Parents and families deserve better and America can't give us that. Only a condolence statement and a moment of silence when children are gunned down where they should be safe...smh.
