- Arlington police said 17-year-old Julian Howard shot and killed 18-year-old Etavian Barnes around 3 p.m. Wednesday just as the dismissal bell was about to ring. Police are still searching for the gun used in the shooting.

I was let go of my subsitute teacher position for standing firm to kids bullies who in return filed a false allegations with support of their enabling adults . It is scary indeed...by the way the school that I had served was alternative school campus...and they took their false testimony over mine...and yet I worked until clock out time and 2 days passed I was removed from work to students who deserved education rather than some who are their for ..what I am not sure about 😂😂

My daughter goes to Arlington High school and she said this happened over a girl. Also my kids dad has a friend whose daughter was actually there watching all of it go down and confirmed it was over a female. How are they getting guns on campus. My kids go through metal detectors at every door in Arlington high. I thought all schools had them. I do know this happened outside the school, so he may have grabbed the gun from a vehicle or something. It’s just terribly sad and I am terrified to send my kids to school everyday.
I watched the rest and heard they do have metal detectors.

Read the report. This killing was outside of the building, near a free-standing potable classroom. So no metal detectors needed. Many schools in America do not have detectors.
It happened outside of the main doors at the portable behind the reporter, you dont need to enter the school to get there.
And let's not forget the parents that act just like their children.

as a student at the school i remember a guy being very agitated in my english class over a girl, though i'm not sure in what context. this was around 8-9 AM. later in the day the shooting happened and i recall seeing a picture of a student in custody and thinking that he looked strangely similar to the angry student in my english class that morning. today i discovered that there is indeed a julian howard registered in my english class, and i'm pretty sure that the scene he made yesterday morning in english was followed by the shooting hours later as rumors have spread about the whole incident being over a girl.
