Hugh, you are passionate and knowledgeable street photographer, with an engaging personality and decency. I had an absolute blast attending the recent 1-2-1 street photography session in London with you, thank you and please keep the content coming 😊
Some nice shots fella, I live near Cambridge and seem to struggle getting close to people, I’ve got a Fuji x100v so getting near is a must. Guessing you’re shooting from the hip. I love that you printed them out too.
What a lovely camera. Yes you would need to get in close - but that’s often half the fun. You’re right, I do shoot from the hip a fair bit. I’m trying to do it less often but it’s very instinctive.
Hi there, Very good video, presented In an interesting and personal manner . Thank you for your explanations to each photo. My personal favourites are the "Cappuccino" shots (2:07 and 2:14) right at the beginning.
HI Hugh Street is a very challenging genre to shoot. I could see this in your video by the looks given towards you as you passed close to your subject. The same looks we all get 😂. I noted your early on in your channel, as am I. Gave you a sub. 😃
I’ve just looked it up - it’s called Campkins Cameras and it’s on Kings Parade; right opposite Kings College. It looks as though it’s looked the same forever and sometimes with a dog asleep in the window.
I always look forward to your printed summations. Great work, Brother!
Glad you like them! I enjoy doing them so I'm glad they resonate with you.
"Beautiful old prices too" 😆 great stuff Hugh, keep them coming 👍👍
Thanks, will do! Much appreciated James

These are streets that I also wander, so it was interesting to see what you came away with.
Thanks. - it’s always fascinating seeing somewhere well known through someone else’s lens.
Very inspiring especially the family at the chequered tablecloth in the restaurant
Glad you liked that moment. I did too. Thank you.
Was there a long time ago and got some nice shots on an iPhone 4 😂 very photogenic town
It is a great place - full of beauty and packed with people who feel free to do their own thing and be themselves.

Great video
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks so much Richard
I wonder if that’s the same camera shop I used to visit back in the 80s Looks like the same area

@@hughrawsonthat would be the one , great place to visit . Used to be run by an older Gentleman very nice place .
Do you look through the viewfinder or the back screen? My problem is no matter how stealthily I try to be I always get noticed
Rarely through the actual viewfinder, often through the back screen but sometimes just shoot blind from the hip.
