- 6 months in the making. Over 500 clips. +10 hours worth of editing. You're gonna love it.
Announced back in March, here is the Paint the Night Mix video that I've been working on since then! A lot of hard work, time, effort, and dedication was put forth onto this very special project. So far, it seems like this is the most effort and time we've ever dedicated to a video here on Inside Disney! With that said, we thank you so much for being patient all this time. Thank you for all the support. Shout out to the Instagram fam!
(So how did I get this music video done?)
-I've had to watch and record Paint the Night roughly 10 times to get all this footage (yikes!).
-I've literally had to run around Disney California Adventure (DCA) several times to get landscape shots of the park, and to get all my Paint the Night footage (which left me all sweaty, especially since those were last minute instances too... yikes again :P) It was even difficult and extremely challenging to get recordings of the Incredibles unit and ending window (outro) audio for this mix. (Probably my favorite fact right here... I'm proud. :D).
-Creating this video was a PAIN!! I planned on releasing this video back during July! But to due insufficient and inconsistent footage, I've literally had to watch this parade WAY more times than expected! The program I used to edit this video was definitely my frenemy. It most of the time lagged A LOT and definitely did not want to work with my audio! I had to export this video onto my camera roll more than 10 times due to audio syncing issues.
-It took me 5 devices to complete this video! Two for footage, one for editing, one for photos, and one for audio.
After that, pretty much it!

The first parade I worked while being with the company. Although it was so chaotic during this shift, I loved every minute of it. I made the best memories with the best coworkers and would not have wanted to experience it any other way. I am so sad to hear of the layoffs :( I came back to listen and reminisce about my favorite times being a cast member.
Any word on what became of the "Frozen" flloat when the parade moved to DCA, it looked too beautiful to suffer the same fate as Pinocchio's MSEP float.

This video is amazing!!! Thank you for putting so much time into it. I just got back from Disneyland yesterday. And now I’m crying! I don’t usually watch the parades, but this time we actually stopped and watched the whole. I was just blown away. I’ve seen a little of it a few years ago when we got stuck in the crowd and was pretty much forced to watch it (not complaining lol). I’ve never seen the Cars part and Mac just blew my mind. If Walt could see you now... look how far you’ve come! Look what you’ve turned into!!! AMAZING!

Inside Disney might want to call it the Ultimate Disneyland/DCA Show Mix since the only place the frozen float was seen was at Disneyland.

@@Darthsimpletext I hope (even though I could see it really expensive) that DCA hosts Paint the Night for it's main night time parade. And I would think that Disneyland Park would keep it's most classic parade of all time. The Main Street Electrical Parade! And maybe if they do summer nighttastic, they can switch the two parades in the two parks. I would personally love this but I am sure it would be really expensive.

It really does feel like a update to Main Street electricial parade.
I love it, if Tower of Terror was still there it would be weird and unusual seeing that parade going by an abandoned hotel, but that’s just my opinion.
So its less unusual to see a parade go pass by a collectors fortress in Hollywood land

I will miss the nightime disney electric parades, the mainstreet
electric parade and paint the night but i am also aware of how much
contact cast members have during certain performances, this decision is
good for the time being to prevent thousands from getting sick

Disneyland in California looks amazing! I’m here in the UK and the only Disney holiday packages that are offered are for Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World in Florida 😢

No unfortunately. This was a whole LOT of work, and I’m never at the parks during the day too much anyway haha. But, I will consider making a soundtrack of it though. If you want updates on that, you should check me out on Instagram @insidedisneyofficial.

VERY well done! I had a HUNCH you did it as it sounds less like an induction recording like that other version is.
Yeah, it was a HUGE PAIN to get the recording (ugh) and to make the audio sound like source, but fortunately I got the job done. :D

Oh boy, we don’t talk about getting the Incredibles audio. That was a PAIN. Even getting the outro was a pain but not as hard as Incredibles.

@Inside Disney Didn't you know that it also happened in the bigger Disneyland park? That's where Frozen was instead of the Incredibles.
Frozen float was too tall for the trolley wires in DCA. So they had to remove it, same reason why the hood on Little Mermaid's float was removed. And why Slinky Dog's head doesn't turn.
@@ZeraStargazer I'm talking about in the bigger Disneyland Park. NOT Disney California Adventure! Besides, for that parade in Disneyland, they would attach the hood on the sea float and have Slinky's head turn.

So, if the song "when can i see you again?" by owl city is used for the parade, how does disney pay the bands rights for the song? Second, do you think i can use the song to honor the terrific hobby of railfanning by modifying the lyrics? it would go soming like "When can i see trains again? Never want trains to end, i want to know..........." Is there anything that happens when your using the owl city song when you use it? I know you like to highlight the parade, but i want to highlight trains, particularly CONRAIL, Because a childhood railroad for me is just as special as the Mainstreet electric parade
