Mine ended so differently. In chapter 1 I escaped the room and then collected some statues which ultimately led me to a river where the dark shadow kills the woman and somehow I again wake up in the room and it says chapter ended. Wth

the boxes in the head can connect with the open passage ways as long as they are in line. The water pipes all connect also.

When you look at the guide, the deer was pointing at 12 o'clock direction (let's say North) and the window was pointing at 6 o'clock direction (let's say South), so you get the direction of the room as it only has four sides. Then you look at the window and see which object is at which direction then voala!
