The beauty of MUNNAR // God's own country Kerala - Tea plantation & Valara Falls
The absolute beauty of Munnar I captured on my first ever trip to Kerala. On most of my travels, I do not get the perfect weather or lighting conditions. But, somehow during peak summer, I got peak monsoon rains at Munnar. In fact, it rained on the way to Munnar, did not rain anywhere I stopped for filming and poured like a deluge on the way back by evening. The rain allowed the vibrancy of the scenery to be shown in it is full majesty as well as the provided beautifully flowing waterfalls like Valara. It was a one in a million lighting and weather condition. We were on a tight schedule as I was with family. But despite the schedule, I was able to capture the scenery quite well.
Kerala definitely requires another visit. The scenery is spectacular.

I'd say both have their unique appeal. Munnar has mountains of tea plantation, Kudremukha is an epic mountain scape! Both landscapes are beautiful.
