If memory serves, UCF had quite the attitude coming into the league. Unfortunately, things did not work out so well for them. I would imagine Utah will be humbled as a welcome by the Big 12.
In the end ,Utah will make the adjustment into the Big12. They have BYU,Colo, AZ,ASU ,TTU to prove they are the best in the Big12 west.If FSU , and Clemson announce they are leaving the ACC hang on for another round of conference realignment for the Big12 . It might take a year or two but most likely will happen.

Oh Fitz! I think Arizona was ready to join the Big 12 long before even Colorado, but Arizona State was kind of putting a stop to it.
Rember TCU came from the MountainWest also and adjusted fine😊Utah is three times the size of the Frogs but they spanked the Utes many times😊Welcome to the Big 12 and maybe you might be the second team to win a playoff in an easier access time☹️

Utah is a good program. The fans know they have been to the title game 4 out of the last 6 year. Even the media have looked at this and go awe. The thing is the pac 12 is bad. Utah hasn't lost less then 3 since joining. Pac 12 had multiple years of only 2 teams ranked at the end. Utah has gone into the title game with only 9 wins 3 times. The year utah had 11 wins a 7 win texas smacked them around. Byu should have been name pac12 champ in 21.

When a program enters a new conference boasting about owning it and think they're better when they're not they put a target on their back every game. They will find out soon the Big 12 just cares more and might be in for a rude awakening. This first season, however, they will probably do well with half their games against newcomers and a down Baylor squad. Not the usual level of Big 12 competition.

Don't need another ego school coming into the conference, had enough of that with what just left. Thing is, the Big 12 isn't the Pac 12. Sometimes people need to learn a lesson, good luck with that. Humanity is moving from ego into their hearts, might want to give that a try instead.

Dominate, no but they do have the weakest schedule in the conference. The B-12 wants to make sure they are in the playoffs, so they made Utah a can't miss playoff team.
