I love Buddy's game so much. He reminds me of Bill Walker. Henry didn't just want to score on you. He wanted to score on you, hurt your feelings, and then date your girlfriend.
Lmao this comment takes the cake. I love it haha
Great video Joe. Keeping the excitement alive EMAW
Thank you so much my friend!
I'm glad that Rich returned for this season. He certainly has a lot of potential. I think all three of our returners will be solid for us.
Me too my friend! Think he’s a heck of a player!
he’s a powerhouse I hope they can get him more minutes even tho he’s essentially playing the same position as some of the transfers
I think he’ll have an increased role but it’ll be interesting to see how he progressed. Will be exciting to see!
If he adds any range or playmaking to his game this offseason, he can be a legitimate threat that brings great depth to the team
I think you said it. He could be a star in a role if he develops like I expect him to this off-season! Thanks for watching!
If Buddy keeps his work up and his jumper improves, I think he could be a viable 2nd option behind Coleman Hawkins for the 3 spot. I think Buddy and Mobi will have some good times playing practice against each other.
I think you’re right on that one. Will be interesting to see how much he progresses this off-season! Thanks for watching!
@@JoeTillery Hey thanks for the reply but is there any way to watch K-state basketball practices online?
@@milstator not a problem my friend! Sorry it took so long to get here, I was driving in the car for 10 hours yesterday haha. And not that I know of. Think they keep that stuff pretty tight to avoid letting anything others can use against us on film.
@@JoeTillery thanks!
Thanks for the content. How bout highlighting our football guys going to media days?
Definitely something I’m considering, will likely do a post day one media day thing recapping what I learned, boots on the ground in Las Vegas! Thanks for watching!
Why we didn't play him way more...Buddy made most of every second he had. Thank God he didn't hit the portal. I'm Buddy's biggest fan.
Great question but it happens, mistakes happen. We’ll get it right this year! Pumped to see Buddy stick around!
Watched the vid. The guy left out his best dunks from last year
True that, missed the windmill and a few others that needed to be in there.
I'm excited to see if Buddy can develop more, but I have low expectations. The fact that he got little to no minutes during all of last season while we were desperately searching for answers is very concerning. We should have a lot stronger team this year and I just don't see him getting many minutes unless he's become a much better shooter and defender over the summer
I think low expectations are a good thing in this case. If he can continue to develop I think we’ll all be really excited to see his ability rise to the surface! Thanks for watching!
He woulda broke out last year had they put him in the games
Honestly, you’re probably right about that. Thanks for watching my friend!
Very well said. I agree with your assessment. I see him in the vein of a Charles Barkley/Draymond Green unstoppable force. Whereas Barkley talked the trash, it wan't out of bounds. Draymond went over the edge. I think too many reporters and fans, expecially with respect to pros, emphasize the sensationalism and posturing.
When Buddy learns to harness that energy and channel it into helping the team in a positive way, and not flexing in front of the opponent (and maybe he has done all of that, or most of it, or a work in progress, we shall see), he will become a Sinnott-type beast that lets his play speak for him. Really the sky's the limit for Buddy. I think he could really be a dual-sport guy too, like a tight end or defensive end.
On the women's side, I feel the same way about Eliza Maupin. at any given moment, her athletic ability is heads and shoulders above anybody else on the court. She was a state High Jump champ. Her challenge though, is to be more assertive. i don't know if it's attitude or strength, but when she develops that on court presence, that confidence level, she could be a beast as well.
BTW, Fitz gave you a mention on the PP and it was really cool.
Thanks for the great comment my friend! I think you’re spot on with those comparisons. Maupin definitely has that in her game too. Will be interesting to see him put it all together! Thanks for watching brother, go Cats!
Buddy's gonna get on the floor this year. He's earned it.
Do you mind explaining? I am not saying i disagree, but was curious what Buddy has done to earn more PT from last year?
If he’s added any range and playmaking since last year, then we can say he’s earned some minutes
Agreed brother. Showed a lot of maturity sticking it out at K-State. Hopeful it bodes well for him!
Joe, big fan here, longtime follower, but Buddy Rich will not see too many meaningful minutes again this year until he develops a jumper. Especially with the offense we will run (P&R) he will need to be able to spread the floor. Granted would sick dunk here and there be cool? Yes.
That is true, it’s entirely going to be dependent on what his off-season progression looks like. He’s going to need some areas of his game improved but I have faith we’ll see a step forward! Appreciate the kind words my friend!
