What We Can Learn from Real-Time Transit Feeds, Sunny Ng

When the New York City Subway opened up its real-time transit feeds to the public for the first time in 2018, I set out on a journey to utilize this data to learn more about how trains are running. Along the way, I was able to figure out where train delays were happening and more unexpectedly, I was able to use this data to create a live route map in 2019. Now that I have more experience with this data, I can't help but notice that every navigation app out there makes the same fatal assumption about it...
