Cutie marks. That's what the My Little Pony marks were called Kristina. My kiddos loved that show. Gorgeous card, love the watercoloured background, such a dreamy finish to your beautiful card xoxo
I'm absolutely IN LOVE LOVE LOVE with this card. I'm obsessed with Lindy's products. I'm hoping the link will lead me right to the set you used. Also I'm VERY much interested in the cardstock base that you used. Beautiful card! Thanks so much for a very fun and easy to follow demonstration.
What an adorable card Kristina! That background is stunning, has all my favorite colors! Loved seeing the way you used the shimmery powders, I was unaware that the color got more intense if sprayed with water and used as a watercolor paint. Very interesting and will change the way I used mine!
Is it "Cutie Marks"? My daughter played with them a lot but I don't remember they the markings had a name! This card is so sweet and I'd love to win the set just so I could make something like it! Thanks for the chance to play along.
What a superb card! I have the Lindy's powders and have never opened them - You've just inspired me to start using them. Love the background. Love the unicorn and I did not choose that from AE as one of my purchases but now I think it is an adorable stamp. Thanks for such great videos and projects!! Lori S in PA
Coincidentally, I was using my Magicals today. The colors can be VERY intense. My favorite method is putting the powder on my glass mat, adding a little water, and using a watercolor pen to paint with them. Sometimes I'll use them for backgrounds the way you did but I like the control I get with the watercolor pen (I don't add any additional water from the pen; I just like that I can clean it easily as I change colors). Smooshing works great, too. Love how your card came out. Just a PSA, these Magicals are VERY addicting!
So very nice! I really like the background! It fits so well with the theme. I will have to check out these powders. How do they react to regular card stock? 🤔
Tracy from Lavinia Stamps was one of the first designers I saw using a fan brush, and Barbara Grey from Clarity Stamps, both here in the UK. This was years ago, when I caught the cardmaking bug. Sadly, I didn't catch the knack of it, and usually end up with big blobs.
I have the Tonic Shimmer Powders and love them, but I'm curious about the Lindy's. Gonna have to try them! P.S. Any Rysavy (Prairie Paper and Ink) is the one who used the fan brush
Such a very cute background and c ard. Love watching you watercolor. I wish I knew the designs on the ponies. I only bought them for Molly Traylor. LOL
I can remember the original six My Little Pony names from the 1980s: Butterscotch, Snuzzle, Bluebell, Blossom, Cotton Candy, and Minty and most of the Strawberry Shortcake characters too. LOL I can't remember all of the emblems, but now I'm going to have to look them up. 🤣 I LOVE this card, Kristina 🩷

Where do you get a board like that to tape the card stock on ?
You can use anything similar, like a clip board, etc. The one I used is listed in the video description. It's a hardboard. :)
My granddaughter would love this “lunacorn” she’s 2.5. 😊
How cute. I'll think of them as lunacorns from now on. Adorable.
