Like I said when you were on the show, I definitely think you can do a better job doing this in your image editor of choice, however that's a skillset that we happen to have that not everyone does, and it's nice to see these features getting better and better for people that aren't trained in Photoshop/etc. so that their creativity isn't hindered by just not being able to use a program. Loved the comparison! I'm actually surprised the Design Space remover worked that well considering how mediocre it was when the feature was released a few months ago!

This is fantastic! If I used a canva image with the removed background & then did a really thin offset around the image in design space, would it make it so my cricut didn't have to cut all the detail? (I've never used offset before & I'm not even 100% that's the right term. 🤪)
Angie do you have a video on how to put a name on a suitcase that is a hard textured surface. Could you make one if you do not and explain what vinyl and procedure you use thanks so much I love how you explain things.
@@AngieHolden I think she is going to try the hair dryer it is heat transfer vinyl She was having a hard time getting it off the transfer tape and getting it to stick to the suitcase. We will see. I know nothing about this but I told her I would ask you, if you had done it.

Beginner here... so you have a pic without the background, so now what do you do? Print on the sublimated printer, then put printed paper on Cricut to cut? (that's if making something to be heat pressed). What if printing and cutting for a collage element? So confused.
I just went in and I don't have the free preview option unless I sign up for Cricut Access free trial, is this the case or do I need to do something different?

@@AngieHolden I just seen this sorry i have also used PNG images as well and I still didn’t see the option it’s so weird. I’m gonna try again. I’ve used it multiple times i just have never seen theses options when uploading. I can erase backgrounds from my phone as well. But even on the laptop there is no options like that. I even paid thinking that would help me get the options but it didn’t.
You do need to upload the right file type. They have a list when you first click upload. Make sure if you purchased something that it is not in a zip folder. You may need to unzip before you can upload.

If you bought the bundle, log into your account on heat transfer warehouse. Click the order for the bundle and there will be a zip file there for you!

Yes you can change it at any time.

There are a variety of applications. Sublimation and print then cut both. The video is intended to be used when you have a project idea.
Hi Angie, I have not had any luck with importing anything to Cricut that was not an SVG so how does this work for your Canva program?
What do you mean you haven't had any luck? I import a ton of different file types and I don't have issues.

You can't do print then cut with the Joy. You will have to pick another machine to print and then it won't cut.

I always unzip files before uploading them, but I will try it again and see what happens.

These were for demonstration only but you could use these with print then cut and your home printer.

Everyone has those options when uploading an image. Are you trying to upload an SVG by chance? Then the option would not show up.
