This is such a cool idea! FYI if you draw the circle on the two pieces of fabric right sides together, then sew on the drawn line before cutting out the circle, it would be easier! Don’t forget to leave the part for turning! When you’re done sewing , cut out the circle 1/4” from the drawn and sewn line with a pinking shear!
I made those about 3years ago they are easy to make. They are nice to give to your family and friends 😊
Great idea
Your so cute 🥰 I never see a guy have a patient to make this Christmas ornament before.😮😮 Impressive...
Beatlesfansonia. I tried your suggestion and it worked great!
I love the tutorial, thank you for posting it. It's great that you're using a vintage Singer to sew with. They were made to last for generations, and they sew such a beautiful stitch.
Even though you made this video about 5 years ago I still refer to it every year to make these. Love how simple they are to make. Thank you!!
These are just adorable! Haven’t been able to find just what I want for my tree this year but now I can make these in the colors I want, navy gold and burgundy. Thanks for sharing🎄🎄
What a clear demo, with peaceful, "quiet" music. Beautiful craft. Can't wait to try it.
Haven't decorated for Christmas in YEARS, but I am making these right now. Thank you so much. I am making them to become napkin rings, sewing a small circle of fabric on the bottom. Sooooo cute! Thank you so much.
These are so pretty! I love it! I like the old sewing machine in the table too! Thanks for the ornament sewing lesson. I may like to try this.
Me too, me too. I love the sewing machine. BEAUTIFUL

I have three comments: I love the background music! I love the sound of your old sewing machine! I love the ornaments! I'm going to make some. They look a lot harder to make than they are. Thank you!!!
THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN INFORMATIVE VIDEO, SO NICELY EXPLAINED. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. GREAT TO SEE A BLOKE DOING THIS.
Bravo ,grazie x aver condiviso
I'm new to this group, and I'm very pleased with the projects and results I've gotten so far! The tutorials are wonderful: clear, concise, easy to understand, and not so fast that you have to hit "pause" 50 times while you're trying to keep up. I can't wait to make more things!!! I used a 7.5" pan lid, and the finished size is perfect! Thank you so much!
My quilt guild just made these for a charity Christmas tree raffle, where decorated trees will be raffled off in December to raise money for a local charity. We made them in two sizes, and one guild member cut the circles using an Accuquilt Go Cutter with the 6" and 8" circle dies- quick and easy way to cut your circles! The members loved making them, and I think our tree will look great. Thanks for the great instructions!
I made several of these a few years ago following your tutorial. I never tire of seeing them on my tree each year. I thank you !
This is by far one of the best tutorials I have seen simply beautiful
Love ❤️ it!!!!!!!
This has got to be one of the cutest and so simple decoration for Christmas time and love it. Thank you!
I made these for gifts two years ago and everyone loved them! A really great and beautiful gift !
I watched this 10 yrs ago before I ever had a channel. It's fun finding it again. I made like a dozen of these ornaments that still hang on our tree today. ❤
I made these for my coworkers a few years ago. You just popped up on my phone again today! Making more! Thanks CC!
So clever! Thank you! I am in love with that sewing machine and I'm amazed at how neat you can sew that circle. You're my hero.
This is a lovely tutorial. I made mine tiny (3.5" ) and used scrap I had around. I love your sewing machine :-)
I can't wait to try these ornaments.
I was looking for something with a vintage look. thank you!
A very enjoyable presentation of a beautiful Christmas ornament. Nicely done! It is something I definitely want to try. Thank you!
Love it! I am making some, did some with 5 inch circles, left the needle on to do the middle button and the loop, all about faster! Thanks for the great idea!!
I see you're using the antique singer. So I'm machine. I love it. I wish I had one that worked that's really cool. I'm 73 so I know a lot about machinery. And it's nice to see somebody using the old old machine. Some way back thank you for what you do
Your ornaments are wonderful, and I love the clackity clack of your treadle. I learned to sew on one of those, and it brings back great memories.
Awesome tutorial! Very clear instructions. Thank you!

Thank you so much!!! I don't quilt but my daughter does. She is so happy making her first quilt and I'm sure she'll love these Christmas ornaments. Congratulations on your talents n patience to explain. Love your work, a grateful mom in Texas.
Thank you so much for your video. Just made one on my 1945 Featherweight I inherited from my Grandmother. It’s my pride and joy and do all my Quilt piecing on it. Not only ornaments for my tree, but with a wooden skewer on the back these would look great in a floral arrangement for any season.
I made a couple of these a year or so ago from your tutorial. So glad you still have the tutorial. I am a see and do learner, so Thank you for the step by step tutorial and talking it through.
Thank you! I bought a book on folded fabric flowers, and could not decipher the author's instructions from the pictures provided. You just fixed the problem I was struggling with! Your video was concise and to the point and very easy to follow along. Thank you!!!
I am very pleased to find this video. I have seen the ornaments & wondered how they were made. Thanks very much. Excellent directions & a lovely sewing machine.

Just Awesome I am going home to make for our Harvest Festival. Thank you for sharing..
Thanks! Hope you enjoy!
These make really special gift tags. I made them last year and was looking for the pattern again. I used a little card about the size of a business card and tucked it in on the backside using the folds to hold it in place.
Thank you for sharing! I made a couple for a gift exchange and the recipient loved them. Turns out, her husband's family has a long family history of quilting, so these fit right in! Wish I could post a picture.
Ilove the sewing machine and the sound reminds me of childhood , listening to my mother sew. Thanks.
Love your sewing machine. Wish I still had my older one . Their the best . But I have watched some tutorials on this ornament and yours is the best . Easy to understand. Thanks So Much . 🐾🍁
INCREDIBLE!! You are so relaxing to watch and I love your background music. I'm subscribed!
How could anyone possibly dislike this video? These are so cute and so easy. I made several in different sizes and attached little gold bells in the middle.
I love that you use a good old-fashioned Singer. No high tech, bells and whistles, computer does it for you. Keeps it simple.
Oh my goodness - those are so easy! I’m taking part in an ornament exchange this year and am definitely going to give this a try. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Thank you so much for a wanderful tutorial. I LOVE the ornament. I'm making a whole bunch for my quilting Guilde!!!
Keep coming back year after year to watch and make. You’d think I’d remember how to but 🤷♀️. Still love them as much as first time I watched. ❤
Thank you for showing and explaining the process so clearly. :D
I love that you don't use any special tools and you use an old machine.
Fantastic knowing a dude is doing this. Easy! TY.
I watched your lesson last week and bought some fabric to try it out. They look so pretty and easy to do. Thanks!
O M G........ I love your sewing machine ! ! ! ! ! Sewing your fabric on that machine makes that lovely ornament the loveliest EVER! ! !
watched again this year to make more, since all mine were given away. Love this tutorial. You explain this so well. THANK YOU.
Thank you, they looks beautiful, I love your Singer.. is she a pedal???
It's a 1946 15-91 which is electric. I have my great grandmother's 1800's treadle machine though but I'm not good on it. It takes quite a bit of hand, eye, arm, foot, finger and body coordination and by the time I'm sewing I can't stitch a straight line, LOL!!
+Crouton Crackerjacks just bought a 1941 treadle and love in for straight stitching. It does take some getting use to but I love mine.
@@croutoncrackerjacks The pedal is what I learned on......I am 79. What size circle did you use to begin with?
I made several of these ornaments and even used them on a wreath. They turned out great.
That's a great idea! I mainly crochet but after seeing this would love to do a bit of sewing to make some of those ornaments!
I love this I am going to make these for put on my gifts. You make it look so easy and they are very neatly done , Very good tutorial, hope you come up with more crafts.
Nicely done. 💫

Your sewing machine looks just like the one my mom had, the one I learned to sew on! Awsome.
Oh, what lovely ornaments, and a beautiful old Singer. In the cabinet, if I'm not mistaken. Wonderful to see the old workhorses used. Thanks for the pattern, so perfectly shown.
Predivno i originalno,detaljno objašnjeno!Hvala na ovakvom videu.

These are beautiful. Thank you so much for such an easy to understand tutorial.
That is so inspiring, I love it, thank you I love it.
Great idea, you've shown it doesn't have to be complicated to be great. I, too, have a Singer pedal, which is what I learned on as a kid. My dad added a little motor and pedal to make it more user friendly. Your presentation was easy to visualize, and very pleasant to watch. Thank you!
Awesome!
I never thought it’s this easy.
Thanks a lot

These are so cute, so easy, and very little fabric is used. A handmade gift, costing pennies, that doesn't take a huge amount of time - perfect!
Absolutely gorgeous very ornate & proper traditional Christmas looking. I am definitely going to make an attempt to making some for my tree this year as I prefer a traditional Christmas tree as it's full of memories from when I was a child oh happy days & my 5 grandchildren just love hearing all about the time when I was a child. 🎅🎄🎁⛄
Thank you for this tutorial. A friend told me that they were made from 5" charm squares....not so! I appreciate this information!
Hi, love all your videos, you are very talented and creative, thank you for sharing your expertise, I especially enjoy all your ornaments, can't wait to try them, thanks again, best wishes, Michelle Clare
I put a laminated picture on the other side with the fabric( I make some clothes) of the memory of the year. So Every Christmas, my daughter can remember that year in the future. Great tutorial. Thanks a lot.
