"noone would be caught dead trying to resurrect this" Like he doesn't seem to be aware that fans of low poly graphics exist. There are tons of indie game developers reviving that style already and getting praised for it so objectively, yes, there are some people who would be caught dead trying to resurrect this.

I think the "Dogbone" NES controller's buttons were angled like those of the Game Boy, which is a godsend compared to pushing your thumb joint on the B button one too many times.

As a Super Punch Out! Enjoyer, I think it’s a way better game than the original. The button mappings are better by default since Mac’s Super Meter isn’t controlled by the start button. The SNES’ horsepower made it able to have so much more charm and content. The flow and control of Mac feels way smoother in general, so I outright prefer it to the NES one. I think a lot of people would had Mike Tyson not have been on the cover of the NES game. If you have a copy of the game with Mr. Dream on it for anything other than collection purposes I pity you lmao
If you really do wanna try Pokemon at some point, then I would recommend starting with either gen 3 or 4. Whichever one seems more interesting to you. Gen 5 is good too, but I think 3 and 4 are a better place to start.

If the GBA is basically just a handheld SNES, then where are the X and Y buttons? Going from playing Yoshi's Island on the SNES to playing Yoshi's Island on the GBA is super annoying because the SNES version took advantage of the X and Y buttons and muscle memory is a b*tch 😂.
scott isn't up to the indie game trends. Someone needs to show him that even ps1/n64 era graphical styles have indeed come back. There ARE modern indie games that would feel right at home on a ps1 or n64 or sega saturn that are released

Low poly graphics can be very nostalgic for people that were growing up in the 90s. That is why they still have fans to this day

Kung Fu Heroes was the first game I got for my NES, aside from the SMB/Duck Hunt cartridge that came with the system.
