I have lost track of how many times I have listened to this Podcast. I LOVE this addition to your channel Hannah. After working on my shop for 14 months and having a success that does not meet my goals, I love hearing stories from people who do not give up!
So often you hear the stories of I opened a shop and made a bazillion dollars my first year. They are sweet experiences that add value as they perhaps encourage people to try something knew, but I think that your story Hannah and Stephen are much more common. The fall down and getup path that I am on. lol
There are some days that I question my sanity as the thought of giving up never crosses my mind. Thank you both for making me feel a bit normal.

Hannah, another great video! My question for the guest if he sees:
My fear with personalization is the fussiness of customers. Do you show proofs to each customer and allow them to adjust their design till their happy? Does the software integrate the proofs process with messages and chat windows for each customer? How does the software get the license to reproduce a font used by designer, since they will make a custom design for personalization? Can in export to indesign, illustrator format, to adjust kerning, tracking for type?
Thank you so much for tuning in, 1. The designs are standard plug and play so it is not complex designs, see my video on "how to launch 100+ designs in 1 day" it shows it there 2. The font is predetermined just like a regular shirt, see that video I mentioned it also will clarify 3. I am not totally sure on this but let me ask!
This was good .. I made my first 100 sales and now it’s sooooooooo quiet because I accidentally didn’t respond to a customer in 48 hours and it dropped me from the star sellers …. I feel a bit defeated but I’m hoping it picks back up .. I will use his advice …

Hey Hannah, how do I pay for my next batch of materials when Etsy pay periods/payouts take about a week to clear in the bank?
You can make etsy payouts set to everyday or once a week

On one hand, I am so freakin excited for Hello Custom, but on the other hand, it will take away a big barrier, which at this point, gives someone a leg up who is willing to do the manual work required for personalization. So when everyone and their dog starts using this tool, the barrier is removed, everyone is doing it, and so we all get lumped into a saturated pot again.
Yes and No. Even with a good opportunity only 1% normally takes action and even less stay consistent. You are also one of the very first people in the world to know about it, so you have the advantage of leveraging it first :)
@@HelloCustom Yes, all true. I am really excited for it. I will literally be starting my POD shop with this tool. I suppose I should learn how to do it manually in cases the tool is down for some reason. Anyway, thanks so much for inventing this for us. I have to get out of the scarcity mindset.

It can do group listings, you would just have to match up the SKUs to the right designs. 👍

Sharing someone’s store name publicly leads to hundreds of people stealing images and designs straight from his shop. So yes we do try to preserve our brands as we are running them along side our channels. But our videos provide all the free strategy and skill to build a business if you implement the work, knowing his shop is really no value to you other than someone wanting to rip him off.
Surly if you are an entrepreneur and have ever built something worth protecting you will understand! But like I mention the real value is the thousands of hours of free info that I have dedicated to this channel
