Overland Germany to French Chateau de Valette

In this episode we begin the first leg of an epic overland journey from Germany through France where we travel along the Spanish and Portugal coastline looking for surf and exploring the beautiful beaches.
The first leg is an 8 hour journey from Germany to Chateau de Valette where we will stay for a night in complete luxury where we will enjoy the entire chateau, its beautiful grounds, and 5 course 5 star meals.
We dedicated an entire episode to this one night stay because we hoped to capture just how great it is. This Chateau is ran by Christine and Richard. Two wonderful people and I highly recommend staying here and experiencing what they have created. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. This chateau is very unique and wonderful.
Stay tuned for next week where we arrive in Bilbao Spain for some Tapas, beer, and spend the first night in the Defender.

Château de Valette is a beautiful 15th century building sitting in 180 acres of completely private land and located just 9 kilometres from Montignac.
