Hi. I've just imported a little Suzuki Carry Kei truck and I'm keen to do a little light off roading. Nothing too extreme. Any suggestions on locations or groups to join? Where was this video shot, looks perfect?
I would recommend Donegal overlanding, have had many helpful suggestions for us, and we have just joined viking 4x4. Happy trails, do love a good Jimny. Follow our videos as we try to find our own as often as possible.
It started out in Ligoniel in Belfast and headed up into the Belfast Hills, unfortunately the quarry was private land and we were asked ro leave as there had been an accident previously. This was with Viking 4x4.
It's better off road than on! We've changed suspension, put lift kit on, replaced A frame and still when you go round corner, or even.more so, go over speed ramp it is scary biscuits! Been MOT'd numerous times so it's a 'characteristic' but it allows for more play over rough stuff.
Sorry, we weren't leading just following, it is in the hills of Belfast, however the quarry is now off limits as the farmer has had accidents on site and no longer allows 4x4 off roading on it.
@@gingersirelandoverlanding8478 shame. It's wile hard finding tracks to take my bike up and maybe get some stealth camps done.. Gotta head Donegal direction mostly.
Great scenery 👍
It was, I would love to have had more time there, it was just such beautiful vistas.
Nice one, great to see you getting out and about and getting a wee spot of sunshine too!
Lol, thanks, yeah can't believe iit didn't rain for once! Bet you don't miss that!😁
That looks like good Craic. Jeep need to consult with Land Rover on tail gate design though 😅
Lol, we had plenty of fun getting dirty, the car wash people probably didn't have as much fun getting it clean again after though!

Have you a GPX of where this lane starts? Is it a dead end or does it go from one point to another?

Agreed, we spend most of our roaming time in Donegal, no matter where you go in N. Ireland there are restrictions
