Not sure why people get so bent out of shape about seat height. The manufacturer specs on my dirt bike state the seat is nearly 38" tall and honestly I never even thought about it.
My wife sold her mt03 for the rebel 500 and she is sooo much more confident on it. I have a hard time to keep up with her on the montain (me being on a t700) bitch will pull away while leaving a stream of sparks from the pegs xDD
Too bad we don't get most of the large displacement scooters that are available in other parts of the world. They tend to have lower seat heights that would be good for shorter riders. Not being short myself I don't have to worry about it.
I’m 5’5’’, all torso no legs! Less than 28’’ inside leg. Riding for 11 years so far. It’s not all about seat height although that’s a start. It’s also about the size of your feet and your ass (e.g. how wide are you) the width of the seat and how far your legs have to go out and around the bike before they hit the floor. You can often also get lowering kits, lower suspension and take a bit of padding / width out the seat if you find a good upholsterer, and I’ve had half an inch added on the bottom of my riding boots. Ive sat on several of the bikes in this list and my feet still waggle in the air even on side stand. I owned a Honda Rebel but found that my back was the suspension (ouch!), and the handling round corners was poor and it rusted very quickly. Tried a Himalayan (lowered seat and suspension) but build quality was poor and it conked out. I also owned a 1990s VFR 700 that had a lowering kit, took padding out the seat etc and could do the balls of my feet and loved it. I also owned a NC750, lowering kit, lowered suspension and some padding out the seat - awesome and vastly underrated bike that holds all its weight down low and I’d strongly recommend it for a shorter rider. Modifying bikes can affect the handling so you need to keep an eye on that, but the VFR and NC750 still handled perfectly. Also, where’s the Vulcan on this list? In its standard form it’s very suitable. Don’t rule out the classics as well, you can get a lot of bike and fun for your money!

There is a sportsbike for me out there tho... BUSA BABY, Eddie Hall did make it look small tho !!! xD
I could see myself on some adventure or touring type bikes too, if they arent too high
Ffs no mention of the Fury? It's a low rider...with forward controls that are very comfortable. 1300cc, but it's got really smooth power delivery, it shouldn't scare newer riders. Very good looking bike, and fun to ride once you get used to the rake. My personal choice for a cruiser. Smooth as hell and people love it.
People are often surprised how I can easily handle kawasaki Vulcan when taller ones are initially intimidated
Go with kawasaki vulcan 900. Greatest bang for your buck.
Men, i ride a dual sport bike which is xpulse 200, note that i m a 5'5 rider and the bike is slightly tall for me still on highway its good, bt for off-road trials its slightly difficult to maneuver, any tips for that ??
Given away over the years? Man...shoot. Where was I? LOL
Appreciate the video ;)
Looking to buy my first bike (CB125R or MT-125) and I'm 5'5 (1.68m) and I struggle to stay in there with both of my feet fully on the ground. I'm kind of insecure on going for any of these and turning my head to Suzuki GSX S125A. Yikes...
you forgot the tiger 900 gt and street triple...both have low versions from factory...the low tiger is much better than low gs...the gs is wider and feels top heavy
What about a Harley Davidson ST or Road Glide ST
Is there a non-adventure short rider motorcycle that isn't cramped up where your knees are at hip level?
I'm not Horizontally challenged not vertically. Anyways great Video!
What's good for the tall and long legged.
Thinking about getting a 2024 honda cb300r im 5'4
I have a very short friend who ride a yamaha bolt
still looks good on her
Is yamaha R3 good when I’m 5’2?
Not sure why people get so bent out of shape about seat height. The manufacturer specs on my dirt bike state the seat is nearly 38" tall and honestly I never even thought about it.
We need 1 for tall riders, please I'm getting tired of low bikes
Honda CTX 700. 28” seat height.
You forgot speed triple 765. Literally perfect for short riders.
have you ridden the Bajaj Dominar 400
I'm 4'6 which one would fit me the best i don't really care about how fast it is
Now you've gotta do one for tall people
What about turbo busa?🤔
I would like to buy a motorcycle but my parents have forbidden it. I've been riding dirt hikes since I was 5 and I'm 16 I don't really get it
cb400 vtec best screamer low seat height
Do tall riders next
"Vertically challenged" 😆
How about fir the tall riders?
My wife sold her mt03 for the rebel 500 and she is sooo much more confident on it. I have a hard time to keep up with her on the montain (me being on a t700) bitch will pull away while leaving a stream of sparks from the pegs xDD
dont let yammie sweet-talk you about the ninja 400! yammie still hates kawasaki!
And Suzuki V-Stroms
Do 1 for tall people please
6'4 here and just started, help a brother out😂
Too bad we don't get most of the large displacement scooters that are available in other parts of the world. They tend to have lower seat heights that would be good for shorter riders.
Not being short myself I don't have to worry about it.
Because scooters are not motorcycles
@@deedle6073 if it's got a 400 cc or larger it definitely is , don't be such a gatekeeper .
I'm 5'1 . Been riding for 13 years now. I usually choose 250ccm since they are not so heavy and have enough power and vmax for all roads. Also the insurance is lower than for bigger bikes. Now I ride a very much lowered ninja 250, both front and back were lowered. I can get one foot flat on the ground if I move my ass a little bit from the seat 😂 it was my dreambike since 2008...
I can also tiptoe on a Ducati scrambler 800, cbr500.
Previously had Kawasaki el250b (pretty sure the new eliminator would suit me too), CBR 125, CBR 250, Suzuki GS 500 (cafe racer, so the frame was cut etc).
WOW, a salesman literally tried to sell me a Sportster 883 today. wild
My Softail slim is pretty low
And now something for the tall boys (over 6'2'') Pls :)
Grom squad
I am 4'10 it suit for me?
What about tall riders now?
i’m 4’11 am i cooked or is it possible
this video has made me feel even shorter. I sat on a few 31 inch bikes and I could not reach the floor 😭😭😭
