Solid advice! A used 500-650cc bike is a great way to start and build your skills over a few years. That's how I started aswell! It's all about finding a bike you can grow with. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
600s are usually worse to start with, a lot harder for a new rider, heavier, too fast, and often likely to cause a wreck since. 76% of motorcycle wrecks are caused by new riders
@@Kingdrew2007 You make a good point, but it's not just about the cc's, it's more about the horsepower and how the bike delivers it. A 500 or 650cc bike can have a very manageable power output, whereas a 600cc supersport is tuned for much higher performance and can be a lot trickier for new riders.

@@OnlyBikers-TheBestForBikers Agree it also depends, is it a small girl or a 18yo boy who think he can`t die, it might not be a good idea to go for anything larger then a 125 or 250 but for everybody els a cb500 or 650vulcan ca be a great beginner bike you don`t grow out of in a few months or get tired of it because it can`t go highway speed.
Whoops, good eye! You’re right, that's the older 660cc Model. Finding the right images was a bit of a challenge, but the older model is still a solid choice for beginners. Appreciate you pointing it out, and thanks for watching!
@@OnlyBikers-TheBestForBikers it totally is. it behaves like a supermotard which is = to fun. cheap to maintain and fuel economy its OK with 5L/100Km compared to 4.7L/100Km on the new one. let's say you made a positive mistake
There are definitely options for non-new riders on a budget. Looking into older models or less popular brands can help find a good bike without breaking the bank. Thanks for the video idea and thanks for watching!
Go for a used 500-650 cc bike and keep it a few years and grow with it.
