Loving this slightly longer form content. I could honestly listen to you talk about fish for hours. You’ve inspired me to learn about my local fish, and I’m going to pick up a pole and net :)
I love the gar you have! One of the best memories I have was fishing with my dad near my grandparent's property, and there was a gar just being idle in the water. Same place where I once caught a pumpkinseed! I discovered your page through a Tumblr post and don't use but two social media platforms, so I'm thrilled you upload to RUclips, not just TikTok otherwise, I wouldn't be exposed to your cool content! Howdy from Tennessee!
that was indeed a warmouth. bass are a type of sunfish so even if it is a rock bass(often confused with warmouth) you are still right about it being a sunfish
The smaller eels are still half the size of the gar. I’m not worried about them getting eaten. Only alligator gar are sometimes aggressive so not worried about any aggression either.
looks like lots of waterloss on that eelpit judging from the water level mark. just straight up cement without waterproofing membrane. keeping that eel pit looks like a lot of water waste so no for me
ain't no body gunna give a shit bout what ima say. IRREGARDLESSSSSS, let the wild, wild. Make a pet a pet. Don't take the wild into ur captiivity. Let the negative comments flow. thats fkd
Be careful posting video proof of you taking native animals from the wild with the intent of keeping them as pets. If a game warden sees this and can locate where you were, they can and will pay you a visit. Very unpleasant. That being said, this is not meant as hate, I LOVE your videos and just don’t want to see you tied up.
My brother posted a video of a corn feeder on our property that we use to just feed our native herd of deer, not for use of hunting them, just to keep them fed in a way we can also monitor their health, and they came and threatened to take all of our firearms and made us get rid of the feeder and salt licks.
They were probably living a nice life outside. You should not take full grown wild animals and put them into your dark basement, even if you think they look really cool.

love the colors these get when they spawn. They get bright yellow. Almost as cool as the bowfin when they get the turquoise colors
the eel pit is absolutely phenomenal

Heyyyyy love your videos. Thank you for making these! And adding them to RUclips! It's much better than tik tok.
Wonderful!
Love these videos! I’m fascinated. How about calling the catfish Felix?
Nice ! More videos, and maybe a mic for you when you walk around ? Kinda hard to hear you while your not facing the camera. Keep up the awesome work
Man I would love to be able to go and collect gar
This is very cool
I have subscribed for the gar
Would something like java moss or guppy grass not survive in the low light eel pit ?
I follow you on TikTok but I'm fully here for long form youtube vids
How do you keep it so clear?
what lake?
the eel pit is good
I'm a western Kentucky native, what county did you visit?
We were down at Calloway county right on the Tennessee border.
how long can they stay out of water?
If they stay moist they’ll survive for hours.

Soooooooo... Names... Garfield? Garbanzo? Garados?
Garados is pretty great.
Gyarados ?
What if the gar had a wife and kids to come home to, lol! jk
Bro this set up is so sick 😫 I need cooler friends 😅
Is it legal to just...take fish from the wild like that?
Yep if they aren’t a protected species. The striped bass in the live well were someone else’s dinner. Bowfisherman kill 1000s of gar.
Is this legal
I think
this cant be legal lol.
loved the video
This gar will attack and kill and eat the smaller eals

He doesn't add water, it's all from rain water if I recall right

Do the gar care?
You're just jealous you don't have an eel pit
Give one legit reason why he shouldn’t
this pisses me off
This is illegal
Bowfisherman do far worse to gar.
