Those loyalty building attributes you discussed are seen in Aptera and are definitely what attracted us to them. Add development transparency, a desire for a long life product, use of non-corrosion materials, first principles design, willingness to hear/accept public input, and right-to-repair..... and you have an unheard of combination that is very positive and very rare!! Thank you so much for this video! Yes, Sarah was the pioneering force of Aptera to realize this amazing mobility concept and will hit the streets next year finally. Once Aptera, always Aptera in hearts and I think every former Aptera employee will feel the same way and will be forever connected to it. Many of them are investors themselves and I am convinced that they will come back at some point, if it makes sense for them. Let's support Aptera wherever we can to create precisely these conditions.
So no goodbyes in this matter, just postponed. Sarah's expertise is also urgently needed elsewhere, and in helping finance other green mobility start-ups right now.

I like solar cookers. They aren't exactly world changing, but i tell you what, they work for disaster relief, camping, and a replacement for BBQ Saturdays and whatnot.

Had to chime in when the Geoship company came up....I grew up with geodesic homes being an integral part of my life with my master carpenter father being a contractor and building the house we lived in. Would love to see more of them!

Some questions off the video subject....Will Aptera fill the 53 UNION EDITION investment slots after Steve Fambro speaks at DRIFTX this week in Abu Dhabi? Will Aptera post an "Accelerator" type counter so we can see the investments? How much in investments will Aptera garner from unvailing and opening up the UNION EDITION to investors? What other investment deals will be signed in and with UAE that might help Aptera get to production in Carlsbad? Will Aptera be setting up shop and an additional factory in the UAE?

I honestly wish the governments took part of all taxes to found companies like Aptera. Retire at 45 to 55 if you are a citizen hmm I'm jealous. Here in America we work intill we die sometimes. Bad stuff happens if governments keep taxes and the people's taxes and businesses taxes don't get invested for the rich and poor to receive a monthly check,,, from investments of taxes😮

Wall Street is failing, and the venture capitalist is not what it used to be. Possibly the silicone valley surge of to 1990's changed things up. Ms Hardwick has been able to find a niche that didn't exist 35 years ago, and today is showing that crowd funding is a challenge but doable. Wall Street has lost its way. Capital formation used to start in the halls of lower Manhattan. Those were the good old days. Now the Internet is more powerful, and possibly better. The Street today is more of a casino than a capital formation farm.
One thing Ms.Hardwick emphasized was a sense of emotional attachment for the betterment of the world. Sounds good, but has a longer time frame to accomplish, and investment types are impatient. Generations change, but it takes time. After an impactful change, it takes time for people to get onboard with the new way. Edison invented the light bulb, but we needed electricity to power it, it took lots of time for everyone to adopt to it. Changes today are quicker, but adoption is still a process.
Many people are averse to the early adopters tax. Things certainly do change fast these days! 😵💫
The best way to have affordable housing is to move away from car dependency, move away from single family homes, and move away from private investors renting out large amounts of units
It'll be interesting to see how companies like Aptera and Geo Ship will impact those things.

I think geoship is a bit naive at best, and straight up green washing as worst. It's cool that the buildings are made from sustainable materials, but you still need to use the land efficiently, and you still need to own the land before you can build one of those.
It kinda reminds me of the whole self driving car thing, like we don't need to reinvent the wheel, we've had trains and public transit for a century. Similarly, we can build row houses out of wood and other materials like Rockwool that are totally sustainable and 100% recyclable.
We don't need to reinvent the wheel, we just need better civil planning

Quick question everyone. I tried to sign up for Sarah May 11 Zoom Call. I tried to use my email address to sign up. I keep getting the message of, "This meeting is for authorized registrants only. Please enter another email address." I have tried another email address with no such luck. What is going on here? I answered all the questions I was asked.
