is it a standard twin room? hope we get a kettle aswell i cnt afford an upgrade already costing me loads going with coach company from yorkshire mini amsterdam cruise ive never beeen europe b4 & taken my 11yr old daughter as asd adhd ive not even gone yet & already spending money i had 2 get insurance aswell as girls passport and travel fares too coach pick up then spends all amounts up hope my girl likes it im doing something diffrent with her never been.
ours was a 4 bunk room but I think they all have kettles. you can ask for extra tax tea bags and coffee etc at reception if you run out apparently. you will have a great time in Amsterdam so much to do and see. just try to find the cheaper places to eat slightly off from the main tourist areas. plenty to see free of charge there.
were taken own food as im a single parent cnt afford the coach price p.o ferrys meal deal says 79.00 adult return journey 39.00 child but well buy own and i hardly eat so il taken own food its a dear do.
You presumably booked for 2 people in the cabin, hence only prepared for 2. Any ship is going to be noisy, especially in a storm. Flying is fine but then you don't have your car to use. Good video though.
@@Patriciawood-l3s it is £25 so I like to get my moneys worth! sometimes we have taken our own food but at least the restaurant is something to do. you could also try the posh menu waiter type restaurant they have as an alternative to all you can eat but I like the wide selection selection and self service. What happens to your dog on board?
@@Patriciawood-l3sdon't worry too much my mum normally suffers from sea sickness but she's fine on this ferry. even in the storm it wasn't moving that much. my main problem is the noise, vibration, and heat trying to sleep on it
It sounds like you were in the same storm as me, but I was coming the other way from Rotterdam to Hull just before Christmas. Worst sea crossing for many a year and I use the service a few times a year. I never bother with the restaurants and just take butties from home. Due to Hull taking literally months to repair the ramp into the ship cars have to use the lorry entrance into the ship. Apparently it might be fixed end of January.
@@Nikki_Holland Yeah my mum said it is the worst she's experienced in years also with the waves. We have often taken our own food as well. Good to hear the ramp situation will be sorted eventually!
Nice video

@@tonyvernon8908 sorry about that. we were saying basically it is like driving up a normal road in Italy, not much leyway or margin for error
