    Just surprised 😮
In West Bengal it's a tradition to pair ghee with lemon in hot rice and rice with potato Currys is our staple food only which is often criticized by other communities as potato &rice both are high in carbs . I never knew that these have such a nice nutritional value . Thank you so much 💓 .

Aaloo + rice combination actually surprised me! Aaloo and healthy! Many blame it to be fattening! While most of us cannot resist eating potatoes almost daily. Potatoes are thanos for most food lovers... Inevitable 👌

Absolutely! It never feels bad no matter what other sciency folks say. But as a thumb rule I try to consume aloo in boiled form only (chokha etc.). Fried aloo can lead to weight gain per ayurveda.

      dairy is cruel
      watch deadly dairy
      1. Cows/Buffalos produce milk for the same reason as humans do: to nourish their young. In order to force cows to continue producing milk, dairy farmers forcefully impregnate cows using artificial insemination every year. Calves are generally torn away from their mothers within 1 day of birth, which causes them both extreme distress. ~
      ~
      2. Baby calves are fed milk replacers (Amul sells milk replacer for baby cows) so that their mothers’ milk can be sold to humans.~ Baby Male calves (Bulls) are either abandoned on the streets to eat plastic and slowly die of starvation by Indian dairy farmers or they are fattened up and slaughtered for beef , and baby female calves are sentenced to the same sad fate as their mothers.~
      ~
      3. Baby Female female cows are forcefully impregnated shortly after their first birthday. After giving birth, they lactate for 10 months and are then forcefully inseminated again, continuing the cycle. Some spend their entire lives standing on concrete floors; others are confined to massive, crowded lots, where they are forced to live amid their own feces.~
      ~
      4. Their reproductive systems are exploited through genetic selection, despite the painful and negative effects on their health. Artificial insemination, milking regimens, and sometimes drugs are used to force them to produce even more milk -the average cow today produces more than four times as much milk as cows did in 1950.~
      ~
      5. A cow’s natural lifespan is about 20 years, but cows used by the dairy industry typically die after about 5-10 years because their bodies wear out from constantly becoming pregnant and lactating.~
      ~
      6. In Western countries after cows can no longer produce milk, they are sent to the slaughterhouse then shot in the head with a bolt gun and turned into beef and leather.~
      ~
      7. In India where beef is illegal, after a cow can no longer produce milk, dairy farmers can no longer afford feeding them, so they just abandon their old cows on the streets where they slowly die of starvation or slowly painfully die of poisoning after eating plastic/ garbage on the streets.
      ~
      8. If you really love cows and all other animals then stop drinking cow milk and become vegan not vegetarian.
Because today’s Milk (Dairy) industry also causes suffering to animals. We do not need to drink cow milk to survive. There is so many vegan milk options today like Soy Milk, Cashew milk, Rice milk, Oat milk, Coconut milk, Almond milk, Peanut milk. And they are easy to make at home.
Lets stop supporting these cruel industries
      Go vegan

#12 Honey and Black Pepper (add NEEM leaves if you want even more benefits) soaked overnight. Take 8-10 peppercorns and NEEM chew well and swallow with warm water (can add lemon) - best on empty stomach
Honey has ability to enhance most herbs’ qualities

Thanks for the information packed video. I have a couple of questions..
    1. Should the Sprouts steamed little before consuming as I have heard that raw Sprouts are hard to digest?
    2. Why dry dates.. Can we not use fresh dates?

  • @UnknownPerson-nl7te

    1) Cucumber is always served as a salad before meals in most dhaba, resturant, wedding ceremonies and even homes
    2) Never heard or tried the combination
    3) I usually eat sprouts with finely diced tomato, onion, green chilli, fried and chopped green chilli, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice and black pepper powder
    4) What usually happens in our home is that we have a pet bunny, and out pet bunny eats the radish leaves... My bunny loves eating radish leaves, but not usually the radish
    5) Never heard or tried combination, except in some recipes it's usually present, like chole kulche, lemon juice is mostly added in chole, and kulche are mostly greased with ghee or butter, in my case I like both, but here, a combination of ghee and lemon is present
    6) Black gram + buttermilk, I have eaten it before, and I love it, well, buttermilk is mostly said to drink after meal of help digestion
    7) I have eaten potato + rice, mostly chole-aalo with rice, did not love the combination but yeah, it was ok, and another combination is bhel puri, it mostly contains potato (street food), and puffed rice
    8) My grandpa used to take dry dates with milk for weight gain
    9) Never heard or tried the ginger and sugarcane juice combination
    10) In most homes mango+milk combination is served as aam-ras, I hate to drink it because I'm lactose intolerant and just throw up everything I drink after a minute, so I usually avoid anything consisting milk solids
    11) I love the combination, because it's delicious, not because it's healthy

A friend of mine has to spend three weeks in hospital and the diagnosis was H-Pilori that caused heavy bleeding. After 10 bottles of blood transfusion and 6 bottles of iron he returned home.Unfortunately his hemoglobin level is just adequate and require recouping at.east for 6 months as per GI specialist. This illness has deteoriated his kidney function further to ckd 5 (creatinine 4.6) and he is almost at the verge of dialysis which he is fighting to avoid with tight food control. He is also a type 2 diabetic for 25+ years but his a1c is under 6.1 . Being a person with strong will power fortified with strict diet and exercise, he brought his weight to 143 lbs (5' 11") and came out of diiabetic tablets . He is a pure vegetarian (no egg) , teetotaler - no alcohol , non smoker, posses regular exercised body. Before these diagonisis he used to love food , but now a days he is verymuch frustrated. His prime complaint is that no one is able, to suggest him vegetarian food combination that is delicious. Can you help him suggesting delicious vegetarian food combination?

I've heard in some of rajiv dixit videos that we should not mix acidic and alkaline foods together. So I would recommend mango+buttermilk instead of mango+milk. We should also try to avoid mango and banana milk shakes.
